This place is just what I needed! The food was good old home cookin' and the service was like walking into an old friends house. We were welcomed the minute we walked in the gate. Had a turkey sandwich with a salad bar that you could serve yourself. They even had beets ( important Aussie stable!) and a peach smoothie, both were sensational!
After we hiked Devil's kitchen in Lassen volcanos N.P we came back for a crack at a piece of pie with icecream. Topped off a great day. Thanks guys!
Just passing through town going to Lassen Volcanic Park and saw the signs for deli sandwiches and stopped. We ended up getting some peaches, cherry tomatoes(assorted varieties), deli sandwiches, and a brownie. If I’m ever back in the area I’ll definitely stop here again. The owners are super nice, and everything we bought was delicious! The tomatoes were the best I’ve had in a long time!!
Great selection of fresh fruit and veggies out front. We had ice cream and ordered a freshly baked pie to take home. The owner was super friendly and social. Ice cream was great. We ate pie later in the evening. The pie was good and fruity, but not super sweet - different from what I expected, but I would certainly buy another one.
Great little gem located in Chester. We had sandwiches and peach pie with ice cream. Super nice folks running it. Dog friendly and they have us some great recommendations. Highly recommend you stop in and spend an hour.
There pies are traditional pies with almost no sugar if at all if those are the beautiful traditional pies you miss this is the place to be
Will definitely make sure to stop here again next road trip! Owner was incredibly kind and welcoming even tho we showed up just before closing. The fresh smoothies, quiche, sandwiches, and pie were amazing too!
Our family stopped for a quick bite. The owner was super friendly and the food we got was great. They have many options- not just pie and produce. Worth the stop if you are hungry and in the area. 👍
Good food with fantastic real people serving you. Fresh produce deli sandwiches and real smoothies and milkshakes. Great feed before or after hike bike fishing or morning on boat. Thank you guys and girls for a real feed and real welcome.

Good produce, decent prices. Much better than the fruit selection at Holiday Market (which is good, but not super varied. Guys that run this produce stand are very nice.
