This is the best sub shop in the area, in my opinion. They have a ton of options but I always go for a classic Italian sub. The bread is what makes a good sub and they nailed it. I've been going here forever and they've been around for at least 20 years. I have such great memories going here with my dad when I was a kid. It's also right downtown and you can walk to the gazebo or Grove Street Park and sit and eat. Check it out!
We were participating in a craft show in Chester and stopped to refuel after setting up. Under the assumption that a whole sub was the same size as other subs, we were amazed at how huge the sub actually was. We had half for lunch and the other half for dinner. Food was good, was fresh. Best sandwiches around huge portions
Best roast beef sub I’ve ever had and prices that won’t break the bank considering how expensive everything is nowadays. The staff behind the deli counter were super friendly and I got my food quickly. The special subs are phenomenal as well.
I live in Philadelphia now, but when I do come back to NJ, Sub Pub is the first thing on my mind! Highly recommend the Long Valley sub 👌 everything here is the best bang for your buck!
Love the portions and quality ingredients used here. We moved to Florida five years ago and cant find a deli like this down south. Still tastes exactly the same. We love the Sub Pub. Recommend the sloppy joes.

I’m picky when it comes to sub sandwiches. And it’s nearly impossible to find an actual sub shop any longer because of awful chains like....well, you know who. I found this place by chance, I was sitting in the parking lot at the farm down the street and saw Sub Pub was very close and had good reviews. That was enough for me to give them a shot. And they did not disappoint! I don’t live too far away and I’m not that close either, but I will definitely be returning. Big hearty sandwiches, plenty of meat stuffed between soft fresh bread. The whole sub is nearly 2 feet long! And there’s Stewart’s root beer in the fridge! Com’ on!!! I’ll be back soon!
Just walking through the entrance for the first time, the aroma of fresh deli meats fills the room. Solid Sub sandwich for little Chester, NJ. I was impressed with the quality of the sandwich for Morris County. Great Job. People are pleasant, I will be back.
First time coming in - great experience! Good prices - got a sandwich, Stewart's rootbeer and a bag of chips for under $15 which is a great deal to me! Will be back for sure!
The subs here are the best in town! If you are looking for a gut buster of a sub, this is where you go when you are visiting Chester. They have a verity of great subs all named after townships in the area. The Flanders is the most popular and the best, in my opinion. The staff is friendly and the pickles are homemade! I recommend this as a must stop.

Went back a second time and not as impressed. ordered six large sandwiches for company and there was hardly any meat on a native sandwiches.

Always has excellent subs, with generous amounts of meat & cheese. they also have excellent potato and macaroni salad, plus rice pudding. A must try if youre in Chester
