I don’t think I’ve ever left a review for a business that wasn’t a friend’s, but my Mom and I just had such a delightful time here I had to. It’s exactly what a tea house should be — filled with antiques and curiosities to look at, a menu so extensive and delicious it took 15 minutes to decide what to order because we wanted everything, and all the trimmings and trappings that make a tea service special like vintage cups and saucers. Especially recommend the scones and homemade potato salad. And all the gals who work here are so kind and attentive. I loved every minute. BONUS: British crisps and candy available for purchase in the little shop area! Will definitely be back. Why are so many people in the comments so cranky? lol I swear people could find something wrong with a sunset if that had a Google page.
The food here is absolutely amazing!! everything FRESH and REAL food, the food is delicious! so many complex flavors come together and the food is just bliss. the chai tea is phenomenal! and dairy free options :)) cannot recommend more
We celebrated our sisters birthday here . It was our first time visiting this tea room . We loved it ! Abby was our server and she was delightful . The owner checked on us to make sure everything was as it should be .
The food was delicious , we all had a Victorian Tea and we shared a Tiddy Oggi . Tea selection is wonderful . We can’t wait to return !
I absolutely love the menu here. The fresh baked scones are always a fun treat and the selection changes regularly. The full tea service is my favourite and is always more than enough food. I usually take some home with me. For the quantity and quality, the prices here are amazing compared to other tea houses. The atmosphere is quaint and beautiful, an absolute gem.
The tea was OK. The food was OK. The service was great. The purpose of this place was clearly to sell atmosphere to allow a sort of fantasy tea tradition to play out in the American mind, and it did a good job at that, if only for the dedication of the waitress.
Me and my fiance walked in this afternoon. We were seated right away in a cute cozy spot. The peach cream tea is good. Peach scones with jam and clotted cream were amazing! It was also my first time having a beef Tiddy Oggi pasty. It is very filling and delicious. My fiance loved the lobster mac and cheese. We both thought the potato salad was great, too. Thank you for the wonderful service. Will definitely come back with friends and fam.
Anyone who is giving this place less than 5 stars has got to be weird. It is so well thought through in terms of design and ambiance, and the food is actually delicious. The pies are super delicious too.
What a delightful place, a real change from local fare to something that feels different and yet comforting and familiar in some grand way, like visiting far off cousins.
We enjoyed tea and lunch, and a bit of dessert and took home scones for later. I should have bought some tea for home as well - next time, I think I will, or perhaps other treats from overseas!
The hugest selection of teas! My husband and I enjoyed the quaint atmosphere with so many teacups, saucers, and tearoom decorations. Almost all of it was for sale, including a small selection of British snacks and foods. My afternoon tea sandwiches, scone and tea were superb. My husband had the special of lobster and salad sliders, and it was delicious. The next table said the chicken pot pie was very good. They do bridal showers and special occasions. We are looking forward to returning with family and friends.
