Chanello's Pizza

Trying all the local restaurants in the area. Decided to give this place a shot since they sent out coupons saying if you signed up for an account you would get 35% off your first order. You don’t. You get some garlic knots which I didn’t order since I was already getting the cheese bread with the special meal. Now onto food quality. I really wish they would have just called me and said they were running out of cheese. Pizza hardly had any and the Philly cheese had zero. And then there was desert. Not even sure what to say but gross. It’s oily bread.

Don’t get the wings!!!! I ordered traditional mild wings, and it was not buffalo sauce. It had a pinkish red color and tasted like a ketchup-cocktail sauce mix. It was horrible. It even stained my hands a bit. I couldn’t eat it. Please revise your sauce inventory. I have ordered pizza there before and that is okay, except for I always have to ask for well done, otherwise the bread is still doughy.

Ordered 2 pizzas. Waited 45 minutes for delivery. Got hot pizzas. Ready to eat. One problem.....wrong pizzas, and not anything my family would eat. Called in to find out mine were delivered somewhere else and I'll have to wait another 45 minutes to get the right ones remade. I thought they were a little pricey to begin with. Now I'm not sure I'll be ordering from them again. The receipt on the box wasn't anywhere close to my address.

The pizza is good, however they can't seem to accommodate a special request. We've ordered from them several times since moving here. My husband loves anchovies. Like...LOVES anchovies. Each time we've requested extra anchovies. We ordered online and asked them to "Eff me up with some anchovies". They got close, but still lacking. No problem. We'll call. So this time we called. I spoke with a young woman. I asked for extra extra anchovies. I said specifically, "Today is my husband's birthday. He loves anchovies. I'd like the entire pizza covered in anchovies. An obscene amount. Make it like anchovy icing if it was a cake. I don't want to see any cheese. TONS of anchovies. I don't care what you have to charge, but just load it up." We got this. Very little anchovies. So my husband called Chanello's since this is the 4th time we've tried to get a pizza with a large amount of anchovies. The girl who I ordered through answered. My husband asked what we needed to say in order to get a full anchovy pizza. He genuinely wanted to know what we needed to say in order to get the desired amount of anchovies. She told us to ask for extra anchovies. Clearly that's not working. She asked if we wanted to speak to a manager. My husband said yes. We waited and then got disconnected. So, no anchovies for my husband on his birthday.

Pizza always good and made within 20 minutes. Alexander the Greek is a favorite in my house hold and it is enjoyed at least once a month. Clean store, friendly service and I have never had an issue with my order not being made correctly. There is no seating inside for dine in and I have always picked up myself as I live too far for delivery, unless I want to use Doordarsh. Definitely recommend
