Nestle Toll House Cafe

I love this place. A true gem of Chesapeake. The cookies and brownies here are so good and always fresh. The staff is an older couple and they are super friendly and go above and beyond! They do have a military discount available, just ask. I come here every time I go to the mall and highly recommend it. Unfortunately the day I went was incredibly busy so I couldn't get good photos of how full the trays usually are. But they did have fresh batches ready to serve.

The owner of this shop is so kind! There was an issue with my order being a little “overbaked” (it actually ended up being perfect, just darker than I was expecting, and the owner was absolutely correct), but I was still just ok with how it was. Even though he knew he had baked it to standard, he went above and beyond to make sure I would be completely satisfied, and without me even asking, baked a whole new cookie cake and called me personally to offer it to me for free! That kind of customer service is so rare! I highly recommend this location, and wouldn’t hesitate to order from them again.

I visit when I want the perfect cookie. My favorite is oatmeal-raisin - always fresh and warm. However, Nestle offers some interesting variations of familiar cookies that I have tried and enjoy - one is a "sandwich" of delicious frosting between two chocolate chip cookies. Another is a chocolate chip cookie cut in a triangle shape with frosting - another favorite and an assortment of brownies. Everything is consistently fresh with a just baked texture and flavor.
