I had the angel hair with meatballs. Delicious. It was two meals for me but probably three meals for a normal size person. The bread and butter appetizer was nice. (Personally I would have enjoyed it with EVOO and pepper. Should've asked!). Service was very good. We had a table outdoors looking out on the Chesapeake Bay.

The food, service, and atmosphere are amazing. I have never been disappointed, from pizza, to burgers, to salads, to the desserts, all fantastic. If you can, eat outside for a lovely view of Chesapeake Bay, and they have live music on the weekend, too!

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! I cannot say enough wonderful things about this restaurant! The food was absolutely amazing and very authentic (my family is Italian)! And the staff were some of the hardest working, nicest people I have ever encountered! We had a special family gathering on their rooftop and they accommodated out ever want and need! Kudos to Maria and the entire staff! We will be back!

The food was fresh and delicious. The sweet tea was amazing and the view was great. The server was polite and funny. Am excellent experience. The bread was fresh. The old bay wings were great and the pizza had a great crust. Will be my new go to when I'm in the area

I recently celebrated a friends 50th Birthday at this location. I am from out of town and wasn’t sure how it was all going to shake out. The service staff was absolutely outstanding, the food was great and best of all the guests had a great experience especially the birthday girl. I’m forever grateful for this overall perfect experience!

Being a regular at a restaurant definitely has its perks but Mama Lucia By the Bay takes that to a whole new level!
The staff is super friendly to all of the customers and for me and my family, we go so often that they've nearly memorized our normal order. They'll laugh and talk with you while you wait and are always ready to assist you if need be.
The food is wonderful. Exciting flavors and wonderful service combine to make this a hit. The pizza always is made fresh and tastes great with the perfect combination or sauce, cheese, crust and whichever toppings you decide.
For the pizza in North and Chesapeake beach, you have to come here.

My husband and I go to and order take out from Mama Lucia’s By the Bay regularly, and we are never disappointed. Recently we ordered catering trays from them for a party we had at our house, and once again, the food was delicious. All of our guests raved about it! The owners are so wonderful, and the atmosphere at the restaurant is excellent. We feel so lucky to have Mama Lucia’s By the Bay in Chesapeake Beach!
