This place has the BEST fried chicken in Cherokee as you can see!! I keep trying to get a picture before the bites but-we are hungry. After winning/losing at the casino or taking a family trip to Cherokee, you will not be disappointed in a $12 pp all you can eat buffet. The atmosphere is outdated but the taste of the food makes up for it. It reminds me of an old Big Boy or Ponderosa (for my northerners). Hope to see you there!

The customer service was great for us. Can't believe our timing on this. We went in last minute for breakfast and they let us get a quick eat from what was left on the breakfast buffet. They also said we could stay for the lunch since we came in at the end of breakfast. We got everything we were hungry for before we rode The Bluerigde Skyway. I would recommend this place to all the motorcycle riders, family, kids, and all.

The pancake place was fully crowded so we decided to stop here on a whim. we had never been here before but passed it many times. for breakfast they have a buffet. everything was fresh and they kept it coming when things were starting to empty. The hostess was very informative and friendly and the service was just fine. not a huge selection of food but everything they had was really good Will definitely recommend. they also give a little discount to locals!

Took a chance on this as we visited Cherokee area and so glad we did! Small country buffet had really great meatloaf, fried catfish, seasoned green beans, & limas like my southern grandmas made, (better than Cracker Barrel & less salty). Large salad buffet with fruit and pasta salad also. Very casual atmosphere with friendly southern staff working hard to stay on top of everything. Optional one trip includes a dinner plate and small plate for $9.99, I believe unlimited buffet was $12.99. To go is available and is by container, not weight!

So I am a big fan of Huck Finns Catfish in Pigeon Forge. They have all you can eat catfish and I’m all about it. My boyfriend and I ventured over to Cherokee and came across a buffet. We were greeted by a sweet woman and sat immediately. Our waitress was so sweet and attentive. But I’m telling you Huck Finns don’t have anything on the Newfound Gap Lodges Catfish! It was nice big fillets cooked to perfection. And ALL YOH CAN EAT! And it was only $11.99!!! They had all the fixings and a big salad bar. It was all delicious! I will defiantly make the trip over to Cherokee just to eat at this place again. Thank you!!!

Stopped and ate here for our lunch before we headed home from a camping trip. Buffet food was great tasting, fresh and hot and price wasn't bad. For a family of 4 adults it was about $50-$55 with drinks. Buffet has 3 meats and about 4-5 veggies to choose from, soups, a huge salad bar. Catfish was cooked perfect and fresh not overcooked like most places. Service was excellent and friendly. Would definitely go back more often if it weren't an hour away from us, but we will be eating here when we are in Cherokee.

Good breakfast buffet. Good selection. Good service. I want to make a suggestion to your chef. Possibly if you adjusted the baking of the breakfast casserole so it is not so dry and crunchy it would be a better offering on the buffet. It had great ingredients and flavor! Grits were good, bacon was good. Orange juice was good too.

Staff is great. Simple enough buffet offerings. The place is clean and well kept. They only have a buffet but they keep it fresh and do not allow the food to get old or dried out like most buffets do. The chicken I had was nice and the fish was very good as well. I loved the cheese biscuits they had. If there is a draw back it would be the salad bar needed more offerings on the ingredients side of things.

My wife and I have eaten at the former Newfound restaurant a number of times. Our experience has always been outstanding. The whole area is very clean, the buffet area is kept clean. The items are regularly replenished and are kept warm. All food is well prepared. The salad including lettuce is fresh. All employees are very nice and professional. The price is very reasonable. We are looking forward to our next visit and we come up from Atlanta it is that good. Thanks for the experience

Delicious Food and outstanding service! I'm not a fish person, but it was the best catfish I've ever had in my life. The fried chicken was delicious as well. No complaints from the food comment and Kim our server was on top of everything the entire meal. I would definitely come back again!

Was very pleased to have stumbled across this restaurant on our motorcycle ride! We are not usually fans of buffets but everything was clean and fresh and because we got there just as breakfast was finishing up and switching to lunch we got to have both great breakfast food and then a lunch plate as well. Truly made for a break Brunch! Service was good, very personable server. So glad we stopped here!

I have been looking forward to writing this review! This place was fantastic because it was opportunity to eat native Cherokee Indian foods, on a buffet line. The wait staff was awesome, the hostess was warm and so cute reminds me of my mom! The buffet included fry bread, bean bread, lye dumplings, beans, greens and cabbage, and the best peach cobbler ever If! If you leave empty its your own fault! I highly recommend anyone to try this restaurant to sample this delicious native foods while visiting western North Carolina.
