Disclaimer*** we did not go here as a guest at the resort, we just found it on google while looking for a place to stop for brunch. That being said, the actual cafe was exquisite and definitely worth our time! It was a little difficult to find as an outsider (given it’s for the guests that makes sense) but once we got in we were so content! Very clean, the staff and service are SO pleasant and the atmosphere is so fancy! The food was overall good, my partner LOVED his blackened salmon salad, and I can confirm, it’s very delicious and well dressed and filling! I wish that my meal came with a bit more, as it was really just 2 slices of toasted bread and eggs with some packaged turkey links and a small serving of fruit. But it was filling and I just think I’d recommend someone wanting a hearty classic breakfast to go for the buffet that they have instead. It’s 24-25 bucks but you can get multiple helpings and the food there was really more of what I was looking for! Overall, we left satisfied

Great breakfast. Everything was delicious and the waiter was fantastic. He was very attentive and provided refills without us asking

We eat here for breakfast every morning when we stay at Cherokee Casino. They have excellent service and the omelettes are great! Plus their coffee is wonderful! The service can be slow sometimes because they get slammed every morning, but we’re there to relax so we don’t mind waiting since we know it will be a good breakfast. Pro tip: make a reservation for breakfast, you will have a much better experience since the little shop at the entrance is not an ideal place to wait with 30 other people that didn’t make a reservation.

If you are coming to the resort, do your due diligence. There are many restaurants here & reservations go quick. Mostly the early slots as the average age here is probably 55...We tried Selus on a lark, & happily, there was a 10 min wait despite having no reservations available. Back in the day, this was the old Paula Deen Kitchen. The decor looks like it has a fresh coat of paint but the space otherwise looks the same. I got the pecan sweet cream pancakes, the Man got the breakfast bar. The Man was underwow'd & put off by the price. If you are seriously into eggs your way, get it because that looked great. I got the pecan sweet creme pancakes & oh, was it too much. Too much sweet, too much yummy, & way too much on the plate. I couldn’t finish...ugh... Our waiter hustled to every table & more than earned his tip. The server we have the next day was not good. Reserve a table when you get there. This place closes in the afternoon.

Went with a group of six. Had breakfast and lunch menu available. Our server Emily was great. We all had something different and everyone loved it. We had mimosas and Bloody Mary’s which we awesome. Finished with a shared dish of the bread pudding for all six of us. It was so good. Thanks we enjoyed it.

I made a reservation for the morning of our last day at the Harrah’s Cherokee casino.  When we entered the restaurant we were greeted and everyone was friendly.  We were seated almost immediately, with great views of the creek. The place is bigger than I thought it would be inside with a connected gift shop near the entrance.  The menu had all our favorites, with both sweet and savory options.  The Mrs. decided to go with the French Toast topped with fresh fruit from the menu while I decided to visit the breakfast buffet.  It had everything you would want including an omelet station.  Get to the restaurant early or make a reservation,  when we were done and leaving, we could see a line building for people to be seated.

Very first visit here. Friday, a little after 12 noon, no wait. Friendly staff. Sat us by the window watching the river. Good size Angus burger with sweet potato fries. Burger perfectly made to medium doneness. Free refills on Sweet Tea.

This was an excellent Buffet and breakfast café for sure! my waffles were very delicious the French toast was delicious the buffet my husband enjoyed… it’s not the same items you get on the buffet as you do when you order so the waffles will be different. they did a very good job making it with an upscale taste for the price! I definitely suggest getting a reservation they fill up quite quickly!

Fantastic breakfast spot in Harrahs Cherokee resort. Minimal wait time. Our server, Christina, was great. Very attentive and happy. She made our great experience even better! They do have menu options - we chose to go with the breakfast buffet. Several meat and side options are available. Eggs cooked to order. Well worth the money. Will go again!

We decided to order our food rather than going to buffet. The food was delicious, seasoned well and fruits were all fresh! My husband and I cleaned our plates 😂 The server, Christina, was attentive! She is a great server!

On our final day at the Hotel we visited Selu for the buffet and it was wonderful. The biscuits were fluffy and moist, the cook making the omelettes was on point and the staff was very polite.

The breakfast is amazing! Get an omelet any way you want it. Fresh fruit, waffles, eggs, and pretty much anything else you could think of for breakfast. The selection is huge. The food is delicious and it's all you can eat. Come hungry, but come early, there's a little bit of a wait on most days. Considering the quality of the food and experience, the cost isn't very bad. There's a small gift shop near the entrance to keep you entertained while waiting for a seat.

Phenomenal spot to have breakfast if staying at the Cherokee Casino. We opted for the all you can eat breakfast buffet, and it was definitely worth it. Wide variety of food and all the items were hot and fresh and constantly rotated out. Dishes were cooked perfectly and seasoned well. You can even get a freshly made omelette with your choice of ingredients that is cooked right in front of you at the buffet. Definitely will be stopping here again.

The buffet is good, and the made to order omelets and eggs take it the top notch. Pretty good selection and a great start to the day.

Pleasant staff along with a lovely atmosphere. Kat, my waitress, yesterday was great. The food was delicious and my ribeye was prepared exactly like I wanted. The presentation of the firecracker shrimp made it easy to take the uneaten portion home as well.

Selu has gone through many changes over the years with it’s format and menu, but it has always been solid. It was nice to see that the breakfast buffet has returned, but for lunch we had the pulled pork sandwich and a Cobb Salad. Both were generous portions, fresh, and filling. Our server, Kat, was awesome and took time to chat. Hope to see the lunch buffet back when I return.

The buffet is a little pricey ($25) but the food was great! They had all the bacon, turkey sausage, grits, fruit cups, waffles, muffins, biscuits, made to order eggs- plus more, right at your fingertips. I would definitely recommend you try, but get here early to beat the morning crowd.
