Like a beacon in the night! (At least that's what it feels like when you are craving pizza)
I have been searching for a solid pizza spot by my family's lake house and Duncan City is that spot. Fresh, well seasoned, great tasting food from what my family and I have tried. The speciality pizzas we have had are the Mowie Wowie and the Heavenly (major bonus points for using Plaths bacon, the best butcher in the northern lower), also had the Michigan (State) Salad and a custom round pizza, which were all better then any chain/mom'n'pop we have had in the area. Also we tried the Big Lou sub (in-house roasted shredded beef) and the Formaggio (cheese bread), which were all on point. Drove over 30 minutes round trip and everything held up/tasted amazing. If you are in the surrounding area it's worth the trek.
I only write this because we have tried 15+ different pizza options within a 45-60 minute round trip drive (Mackinaw to Onaway to Petoskey) and have to say Duncan City is the best all around. Give them your business and I promise you won't regret it.
This place has just become the best pizza place in town. Great food and staff.

Treated my staff to Duncan City--it is by far my favorite pizza !! Never disappoints and the salads for lunch are perfect !! My kids think it is the biggest treat to have Detroit style pizza from Cheboygan !! Great addition to Cheboygan !!!
Why am I making meals when we have this place in town now??? First time there: AWESOME. It won't be the last . . . I was floored by the quality and sheer goodness of the pizza, the pasta, the cheesy bread, the whole thing. And the pizza commentary on the wall is hilarious! I'm in for top right row, Picasso, and middle bottom row, Greedy.
The Heavenly is just that and is one of the best pizzas I've ever had. My husband enjoyed the Carnivore and we both really liked the crust, which I never usually eat, but will here! Great job!
Tonight was the Nashville hot chicken...oh my! It was the best so far! 5 stars just isn't enough, definitely try this one out!
The cauliflower crust is awesome! Best pizza I’ve had in ages! Come and get you some!
We ordered the heavenly pizza and cheese bread tonight! Boy was it good and was hot and ready 20 minutes after I ordered it, what quick service as well! Hats off to the chef!
Everything I've had is awesome. I've already shared this place with friends and family, and will absolutely be here more than I probably should be. SO GOOD!! So glad to have an amazing local place for pizza and sandwiches!

The Michigan State Salad is awesome. Have it everytime I come. Every single bite is as delicious as the very first. The Apple Cidar Dressing is perfect with this salad. Love it!
Duncan city has fresh ingredients and unique menu choices. The Mediterranean Quinoa Salad is my favorite. My husband and daughter love their smoked dry rubbed wings. My son likes the Garlic Parmesan Bites. As you can see, there’s definitely something for everybody and I didn’t even mention how much we all love their pizza!
Best pizzaria in town, hands down. Good selection of appetizers (I recommend the wings) salads, subs/wraps, pizzas and sweets. Ingredients are good quality and fresh, there are numerous sauces and dressings and a choice of crusts. They offer a build your own pizza and will even prepare a take and bake pizza of your choice.
Personally, I would like to see them build a hand tossed dough that was lighter and airier (not thinner or more crispy as they do that well on request) and had more flavor. I also find their standard red sauce to be well short on herbs and spices. I also miss having red pepper flakes and powdered Parmesan cheese available.
Service has always been fast, accurate and delivered by friendly, knowledgeable personnel.
All in all, the price is good for quality of food and service provided. The only thing keeping me from a 5 rating is the lack of depth of flavor.
The pizza, cheese bread and cinnamon bites were fantastic! The staff was very friendly and helpful. My coupon code has expired so she found me a working one. I was staying in Mackinaw City but felt their pizza was sub par for the price you pay. It was worth the drive to get better quality pizza and the view was fabulous along the way.
While visiting from Texas I went in and ordered pizza. There was a little confusion if my card got charged once or twice It was actually only charged once. After I got back to Texas, Marissa called me to make sure that my card wasn’t charged twice and apologized again for any confusion. Outstanding customer service and commitment to make sure everything was taken care of. Pizza was so good I ordered it the next night also.
We love Duncan City Pizza! Our favorite is the Detroit Style pizza- it’s deep dish, deliciously cheesy with just the right amount of sauce. The best part is the crispy edges! We usually pair it with one of their specialty pizzas and their famous Parmesan bites and cinnamon bites for dessert! Highly recommend for pizza night with the family!

This place seems the go to place for lunch. It seems like everyone goes here so I recommend calling ahead for your order. Decently priced and they have a decent lunch special going were you get a small pizza and a drink for 5 bucks.
I know I can always count on them for some gluten free food! Wish they would make some gluten free cinnamon bites but I will settle for what they have right now!! 😋
Wasn't feeling good after a weekend of travel and pizza sounded good. We got the Heavenly 14 and Detroit 4 pizzas 🍕 delivered. Pizzas were good and service was friendly.
Grateful that Duncan City will deliver to the ferry or airport to send pizzas and other goodies over here to Bois Blanc Island. Thanks!
Ordered Sweet Chili Chicken Salad. Lemme tell ya, it was fantastic!
Delivery was quick even though I placed my order less than an hour before closing. Delivery gal was super nice. 6 out of 5 stars from me.
This is a take-out or delivery only but they do have a picnic table to eat outside. Good food and decent prices, their lunch special is great... a personal pizza and fountain drink for only $5. Garlic parmesan bites are awesome.

I was just passing through and it was recommended to me from the Continental inn by far the best pizza I've eaten in a berry very long time very clean place very nice service the wings were fabulous just a lot of meat delicious
Very good pizza! Good price, fast service, would definitely visit again. We got a Detroit style pizza and the cheese bread.
The pizza had a good texture and flavor with nicely-crisped cheese around the edges. Would have liked more sauce, though, as a number of bites were only cheese and bread.
The cheese bread was very tasty with tons of cheese, but it was a little too greasy and I actually felt that it needed either thicker bread or thinner cheese. I hate implying that cheese bread has too much cheese, but these were basically just slabs of melted cheese atop barely detectable bread in places, so I think the balance could be improved.
All in all, probably the best pizza in cheboygan. We'll definitely be back.

We tried this place when we stayed in Cheboygan recently. If you love pizza, eat here. Absolutely amazing! Highly recommend the Maui Wowie pizza... Can't wait for another trip up north to try another pizza!
The pizza here alway taste like they put so much love into it. And they specialty pizzas are just heavenly. And let's talk about the subs you can't get a better sub anywhere else !!!!!!!! And my delivery is always a little bit earlier then they say will be!! And the staff is always more then friendly
