Pier M33 On The Cheboygan

I’ve been here many times & have seen their menu change as new owners came and went. Their current menu as i write this review is much larger with options for those who do not eat meat! this is very exciting for me, as i have been here many times and have rarely been able to find anything of interest to me. however, my gf and i were both able to find menu items that appealed to us. in fact, our meals were delicious! and the service was fantastic, as always <3

Calli was a great server. First time there and it was a great experience. Servers can make or break a visit and Calli made sure everything went perfectly! Thanks so much for that. The menu calls out gluten free items. The food we had was very tasty and done perfectly. They had lots of options for Gluten free eating. Thanks so much to the staff! The daily special satisfied another person at the table - smoked bb ribs. Just one of the best dinners We've had recently...I had the peach chipotle bbq pork. Just the best!

It was a beautiful night on the deck. It was their first night with their new Japanese menu. Flavors and food were spot on. It took more time than expected for us to receive our appetizers and entries. My husband and I are familiar with Japanese restaurants, so I understand it takes a bit of time to get certain foods. We have never waited as long as we had for our appetizers. More communication about our wait time would have been appreciated. I tried to save my appetite to enjoy the different options but started getting a little hangry. We will definitely be back again to try some of the other Japanese dishes.
