Choo Choo Bbq

Food was decent, the girl who rang me up had an attitude, complained about the size of my order ( I bought for 4 people including me) and still got it wrong. There are several reviews on here complaining about that girl and I'm not sure how she still has a job. I hope you read this and I will not be going back.

Awesome little place. Great food. Big menu. Good service. As you walk up to the front porch to order, you can smell the BBQ smoking out back. As you walk up to the window, the window will slide open and a lovely young lady will be chomping at the bit to take your order. They do take credit cards and cash. As you wait for your food you can sit on a stool and check your Facebook or Twitter or whatever.

I came to pick up a door dash order. The order is sent to the restaurant before it is sent to a dasher, I at 1:20 the food was supposed to be ready at 1:15. The blonde girl at the counter was extremely rude. All I said was that I was there to pick up an order and she said “I haven’t even started on that and it’s going to be awhile” and said “next!” Before I could even respond. Extremely unprofessional. And this isn’t the first time I’ve had issues here. Door dash has been notified.

Today was my first visit. I was told the Killer Potatoes are great so I ordered the Pork version. Was it “great”? YES, yes it was. The potato was baked to perfection, the pulled pork was wonderful and just as good, they didn’t ruin it with the toppings. By my book, it had just the right amounts of butter, sour cream, salt, pepper and cheese. Oh yes, I’ll certainly try another one soon. We also got the bone-in rib sandwich. Nothing at all wrong with this item either. But I wouldn’t get it again. You literally have to remove the bones and the cartilage from the meat before you can eat the sandwich. Therefore, I’d simply go for a pulled pork sandwich over the bone-in version. May as well forget the bun and get ribs since it can’t be eaten as a sandwich anyway. but the ribs were done very nicely and they had a lot of flavor.
