Mcalister's Deli

So this used to be a favorite of mine, but not any more. I was such a regular that an employee felt the need to share these pictures with me. They told me this is why my food has been subpar. This is what the soups look like first thing in the morning..... so first they're over 12hrs old and to look like this they're not being kept covered or the evaporation wouldn't be so severe. My chili spud tasted so burnt it was completely off putting. Second, they've been watering down the soups to compensate for the evaporation...... this makes the soups taste terrible. I had a bowl of chicken n dumplings that were as thin as broth. Overall the quality of the store has declined sharply & I'm sad to say i think I'll just find another deli to patron.

Food is usually great. They'll get five stars from me when they actually learn how to put butter and sour cream that was asked for with the baked potatoes and they actually manage to give me everything that's included on the receipt without me checking the order first. Five stars for the food I did get and three stars for the fact that I actually paid for other stuff that I did not get. This has happened multiple times so check your orders. The staff certainly doesn't.

I paid $9 for some bread.... Update: I'm not sure why I even ordered from here again. I tried giving them another chance but 👎🏻. They put so much vinegar on my sandwich that the bread was soggy and falling apart. I DIDN'T EVEN ASK FOR VINEGAR. I absolutely hate the taste of vinegar so my sandwich was disgusting. Company also asked me for my address to "send me something" and haven't heard from them since. Also why is there even an option for butter and sour cream if you never get it.

One star for the food being delicious and one star for the lovely girl that finally brought my food out. I’ve never had an issue at this location until yesterday. Waited an hour for a mobile order. Wouldn’t have been so bad if I hadn’t just had kidney surgery. I get Covid has ruined everything but turn off the mobile option if they are that understaffed. Seriously an hour for a salad and sammy is not cool. The employees are awesome they just need some help.
