Southside Pizza

We live on Southside and are pizza junkies so it's a treat to have this Southside staple right around the corner. It's really pretty simple.....the pizza is big, hot and just full on delicious and done right! You can get up to a 20 inch huge large or stay as simple as a $5 slice and soda combo. You cant go wrong any way that you go. Interesting specialty pizzas and great basics. The beer is cold, the fountain drinks are bubbly and the food is hot, fresh and very much on the top tier of good pizza spots. There's other high quality goods on the menu, but the pizza is definitely the star. You haven't really fully enjoyed Southside Chattanooga until you've knocked Southside Pizza off of the list. Great, fresh made pizza. If I could give half stars it would be 4 and 1/2 stars as the only thing that was shy of 5 stars for me was a thinner more crispy crust than a chewy crust, but that's my personal preference. I very much recommend this pizzeria as everything tasted fantastic and the employees were very friendly and accommodating.

This place offers very large pizzas and very large slices. A large pizza runs you around $20 here, extra large is near $25. I don't think they offer smaller than that. You can however purchase by the slice, which is $4-5 per slice. The pizza is thin crust and the final minutes of preparation happen when you order --making the time of preparation quick. This is great. The pizza is ok. After ordering a large pizza and a few small $6 beers, I couldn't help but feel like I overpaid. $40/50 for an ok pizza and two beers 🤷🏾‍♂️... Maybe just get a slice and run.

Awesome place. First off as soon as you open the door the smell is absolutely amazing. The staff were all super cool and very polite. We had a supreme 16 inch pie and it was delicious. The dough was thin like we like it and crunchy on the edge. We will be visiting again to try other flavors and most likely do for there bigger pie next time. They also have a decent selection of beer to wash that pie down with. Also have sandwiches that we need to try as well.

Don't pass by this place. Small and tucked away. Good pizza great customer service. We ordered the Supreme pizza. It had plenty of toppings and cheese. Decent crust and sauce. I didn't care for the flavor of the yellow peppers so I just picked them off. 😀 I asked for chili peppers and grated parmesean cheese. The gave us the pepper but told us they only give out freshly grated cheese. That was awesome. That customer service pushed my review to 5 stars.
