We stopped by for dinner last night. Everything was on point. Our meals were great . My wife Bonnie had the scallops, they were perfectly prepared, and I had the prime rib it was very good as usual. We also had the poutine and french onion soup

I ate the Charlton Tavern Christmas Eve very good atmosphere respecting social distancing without taking away the home cook feeling you get at the restaurant. If you like your steaks medium ask for medium well done. Other than that great place
Hidden gem in Charlton NY. Very quaint and inviting atmosphere. The waitstaff was very attentive and the food was excellent. Surf and turf beef was melt in your mouth good as were the bacon wrapped scallops. The duck breast was cooked to perfection. Definitely reccomend. We will be back to try mo
We were in town visiting friends and stopped in on a weekday for lunch. Given how small the town is I expected it to be dead but there was quite a crowd. They were very accommodating in seating us as we had eight and the server was attentive and friendly. The atmosphere is great and the timbered
Food was amazing. Visited last summer, it was my first time. Really good french onion soup and sandwich. I love the rustic hearth and history of this gem. I love the Irish prayer above the foyeur on the wood. Beautiful.
Christmas decorations are wonderful. Never rushed thru your meal. Staff attentive to your needs. Great tasting food, with ample portions per price.
