I’m super confused with how this location gets such good reviews. I’ve never seen a slower Starbucks drive-through. I’ve been to this location several times now and always have to wait at least 15 minutes in line. When I do get to the window I have to wait another 5 minutes for my order. One day I only had one car in front of me and it still took way too long. Aside from that I don’t feel like the staff is very customer service oriented either. It’s one thing to make someone wait a long time for a service/product. It’s another thing to not apologize or even be nice to the customer when they get to the window. It’s just weird and unlike any other Starbucks I’ve been to. The Starbucks next to Harris Teeter is much better if you’re heading that way anyway. It’s also easier to get to.

The good reviews has to be for one of the other locations off 29. At least four out of the five times I've tried to go to this location this month they were closed (during their regular business hours). This last time, it was almost 7:00 a.m. with no answer from the drive-thru window even though there were people inside, so the whole drive-thru line just left. Word of advice, if you're in a rush, there are two other locations off this stretch of road, do yourself a favor and go to one of the other ones.

I went at 2:30 this afternoon and my drink was very sloppy. The worker also had a very stank and nasty attitude. The drinks were incomplete as well. I usually don’t have a problem here but maybe new staff didn’t take their CBT’s…

Closed at 1PM. Maybe if they supported worker rights they could find enough staff to maintain their posted hours. Will now buy coffee elsewhere.

DJ and the staff on the drive through have some of the best customer service I've seen! The order was delivered quickly as well.

The friendliest staff I've ever encountered. I wish I could transplant them to Roanoke at my regular Starbucks! This out of towner feels at home here! Drinks are always prepared FAST and CORRECTLY!! Service with a smile!!
