This place is in the cut but is delicious and affordable. I always get their Kung Pao chicken combination meal, or their orange chicken combination platter. It is quite affordable, you get a lot of food for what you pay for, and it comes with rice, a spring roll, and soda or soup (their hot and sour soup is very good - strong and spicy). I would recommend this to anyone with a hankering for good, filling, Chinese food on a budget. Excuse the pic - I started eating before I took the picture!

Great restaurant. Best Chinese takeout I've ever had (literally.) My favorite dish is the Sweet & Sour Chicken. Unlike many Chinese restaurants I've tried, this one puts steamed veggies in that dish and cooks it perfectly. The chicken isn't overcooked like a lot of places. Ordering online is easy, delivery has always been fast, food is always hot and pick-up is easy. There are other Chinese takeout operations in the area that give you a really small area to stand in. I get we're in a pandemic, but Ming has a more spacious takeout area and there doesn't seem to be any reason some of the others are so small.

My favorite Chinese restaurant in Charlottesville by far. Fair prices with traditional options as well as more Americanized Asian foods for your non-ethnic friends. The yellow bridge noodle soup and eggplant chicken pot have the most authentic Chinese tastes I’ve had in all of Charlottesville.

Asian food places are not known for great location and this place at first glance gives exactly that impresion. However the food is good and it's clean compared to other Asian places. One huge upside to this place is their vegan and vegetarian menu which attracts a trendy crowd. I debated whether to give 3 o 4 stars but being nice i will stick with the more positive. Better lighting might give it a less sketchy feel.

HORRIBLE. They delivered the wrong food and when we called them back to let them know they gave us a hard time about not doing exchanges. We spent 25 minutes on the phone with them (they hung up on us once) listening to them moan and groan about not being able to verify that we actually ordered from Ming Dynasty. The guy finally agreed to bring us our correct order, but we declined after our experience - did not think it was safe to consume anything from this establishment. We did not want a refund we simply wanted the correct meals that we paid $50 for. HORRIBLE, they do not appreciate their clients even during a rough period when we were simply attempting to support small businesses during COVID.

Fast delivery! I will give them that, but that's it. My food didn't have a taste ! The rice was dry sticky and hard, imagine that!!!! The egg roll was greasy. First time and last time!!!! That messed up my entire lunch break!!!!! Embarrassing

The restaurant is bigger than it looks from the outside. Located in small strip style building. Parking is always crowded but there is hardly any customers in the restaurant. Food is always hot and freshly made. They offer some kind of chips and sweet and sour sauce complementary. Our kids like them. The staff are friendly and give prompt service.
