I have never had such a terrible dining experience. Me and my best friend came here for a girl's weekend. This place was recommended by our Airbnb. We came here, without a reservation and found ourselves sitting at the bar. We usually love sitting at the bar, but not here. We were totally ignored
Exceptional meal!! The oyster appetizer with jalapeño and cilantro aioli was fantasic.Entree was flank with asparagus and fingerling potatoes.The service was awesome! Duners exceeded our expectations!
We visited from Norfolk for the weekend and ate here last night, OMG, this was one of our best meals in years. We live by the water and are spoiled by all of the fresh seafood we get at home so we were hesitant to order seafood. Glad we did. Had the shrimp and grits app, super tasty with good medium
Went there a few weeks ago and it was great as usual. Been a family favorite for 20 yrs. One of the reasons we love it is the consistency so if that changes, we probably won’t bother with the drive anymore but for now we love it that it’s one of the only places in this area that’s stayed the same!
Food was tasty. No wait with reservation even tho we got there 15 min early on a weeknight. Limited scotch selection. Other cocktails are good with a strong pour.
One of the best dining experiences we have had. Food, service, atmosphere, and all around attention were top notch and top shelf. We are leaving the Charlottesville community but we will not forget Duners Restaurant. A paradise of joy on Ivy Avenue
