Like others, I witnessed the cashier sniffling, wiping her mucus with her hands and playing on her cell phone. Their hygienic practices and sanitation are far from qualitative. Like HEY, this America, we use tissues to dry running 👃. Nice people with poor standards. Dem use no vinyl gloves ever.

VERY overpriced for underwhelming quality and quantity of food. The wings were hours old, the fries cold, limp, and without seasoning. And the poorly cooked shrimp were $1.25 each. Hushpuppies were mediocre. Not recommended - even for a quick bite.

Albemarle Rd food is amazing. I'm new to Charlotte and honestly, I haven't been impressed with the quality of food at many restaurants. I was even more skeptical to get my Catfish and Jumbo Shrimp from a strip mall restaurant but I was very pleasantly surprised.<br/><br/>The fish was fresh, fried just right and the Jumbo shrimp (properly de-vained) was REALLY Jumbo Shrimp.<br/><br/>The only drawback was that the front of the house seemed pretty grimey. Windows, tables, floors need a really good scrub down.

Great fish love it. Me and my friend went to jj fish ,at beatties ford and we order fish fries , and chicken tender it was great the food and service was excellent !!!!!!!!!!!! oh you have to try there famous lemonade its realllly good and price is good !

I ate at jj fish and chicken i love the food the fish was great i had orderd four item combination fish , chicken and shirm and scallops,and food was cooked as order service was excellent and the workers were very friendly and the score was 99 and i will eat there again !!!!!!!!!!

SPOILED FISH - DO NOT EAT HERE. My husband and I had the great displeasure of ordering from here and it was awful. A warning sign should have been the fact that the sign reads "fish and chicken" but they no longer serve chicken (at least not at the Beatties Ford location). So we ordered a fish and shrimp sampler type meal that included 3 types of fish, shrimp, fries, hushpuppies, and slaw. Half of the fish was rotten, the color was yellowish gray and it smelled like ammonia. The smell is still lingering in my car after ordering months ago. I will never eat here again and I hope that they go out of business.
