Great spot for some authentic Mexican street style tacos. While they have some small tables setup for dining there your best bet is takeout. Super friendly staff you would do best to brush up on your Spanish though just in case (JK kinda). Great place for Taco Tuesday $1.50 tacos with as many or little toppings as you'd like. The portions are decent the flavor is pretty standard/good. I would suggest not going late as they do run out of some of their options. They have a mini Mart of sorts too so you can get some snacks, cheese etc. This place may not be spotless or bright, shiny and new but they've been around long enough to know what they're doing and do it well I might add.

I went on a Saturday morning at 8:30. Meat market with seating on one half and hot food and check out on the other. The process for eating is-order your food at hot table counter, get ticket, so sit down and waitress will bring your order, when finished go to counter with ticket and let them know you ate in the restaurant.
Tortillas were good but I have to agree with other posts that the meat was dry and not well-seasoned. My carne asada tacos were $2.50 each- I didn’t think $5 for breakfast with these beef prices was pricey. I’ll be back to try other items.

Handmade tortilla tacos are so good especially de lengua and tripas. Always come here when I’m in Charlotte !

This hidden gem is a must do in Charlotte. We came for taco Tuesday and were welcomed with the best service. You can choose the toppings of your taco ans can get as many as you want for $1.50 a piece. We also got the rice and beans on the side which is served in a soup cup. I think it was the best rice and beans I ever had in Charlotte! Go check out the local business. Can’t wait to try more of their menu items.

Love this authentic restaurant. Had the ceviche this time and loved it. But everything I saw looked amazing.

Great authentic food, music, and grocery! I go every Tuesday without fail. Best tacos in the area. Fresh groceries. Wide variety of drinks.

This is our go to taco/burrito spot. The prices are reasonable and the quality of the food is always great! The ladies inside are very friendly and sweet. Definitely recommend coming here if you’re looking for quality food.

I love this place. Everything is in house and I definitely recommend the tacos. One thing I will say that I’m not satisfied about is the delivery. We live 15mins from the restaurant and they don’t deliver that far.

Just like having some local tacos in Mexico. Grill and butcher in same place. Simple but real. Food was great and not Americanized.

If you don’t speak Spanish, you might want to take someone with you that does or have someone that does order for you. I started working at Capital Ford which is basically across the street about a month ago. Saw a sign that said $0.99 tacos. So I figured I’d try it. By far the best tacos ever. I could eat them multiple times a week. My wife who “doesn’t like tacos” loves their tacos. This place is legit. Taco Tuesday every Tuesday.

Love it. Its small. But great food!
A year later. The tacos aren't 99cents anymore they are $1.49 😒 they dont use the same chicken they use during the week, it's very dry like it came out of a can.

This is authentic as it gets in the u.s.! The peeled cucumber slices were perfect to cool me down after the delicious hot sauce and roasted jalepeños served with my tacos. Great selection of snacks and drinks too! Going back for sure.
