Hot and sour soup was great, above on the heat scale. Crab Rangoon was good/average. Steamed dumplings tasted freezer burned. Shrimp chow mein was great 4 star. Dry noodles were fresh and good.

Tonight I had my first taste of Chinese food here in North Carolina as I just moved here from New York a month and a half ago. I was a little skeptical and looked at several Chinese food establishments, read the reviews and decided on Lai Lai Express. My daughter treated me and told me to order whatever i wanted. I was pleasantly surprised as the food was fresh and delicious. In NY there was only one place I knew of,ordered from and loved there bourbon chicken and decided to order it from here. It was different from NY as it had mushrooms and onions but I absolutely loved it. My daughter ordered the same in addition we ordered Chinese donuts 🍩 😋 and egg rolls. My granddaughter loved the chicken wings. The white rice was delicious as it was sticky rice I believe. The portions were big for the price. I would definitely recommend Lai Lai Express!

Ordered lunch for takeout today after being recommended to go from a friend. Wish I knew about this place sooner! Their lunch specials are some of the best value you will find in Charlotte. Food was hot and fresh when I picked it up. I’ll definitely be back!

Me and my boyfriend love this place! Quick delivery and delicious food everytime. The chicken pad Thai is my favorite! They also have really yummy gyoza and Chinese donuts. We love Lai Lai Express!

Food ready and prepared exactly as ordered. Vegetables and meat were fresh, everything including rice cooked perfectly. Prices are fair for what they give. First time, but will definitely be back.

Update 6.18.23 Just wanted to say how good the food is at Lai Lai. Delivery was fast, food exactly as ordered and delicious. Highly recommend.

I order Lai Lai because they deliver themselves and I've had past issues with delivery apps. It's fast, easy, and convenient. The food is always great. My order is always accurate. The food arrives hot every time, and service is wonderful.

I thought this was going to be cheap fast food Asian but it was delicious! plenty of food. the sauce wasn't too sweet. there was this fire-roasted taste to it that was heavenly. big, plump shrimps and huge veggies. great quality! strongly recommend!

I received a flyer at my front door, which was smart marketing because I called in a delivery order to be delivered later that day. The receptionist taking the order was very pleasant and answered all of my questions. The delivery was on-time and very courteous, the food was packaged perfectly and the best part is, that all of the food was absolutely delicious! I will most definitely be ordering again and have already been telling my friends, family and coworkers that they must try this place! So good!
