Great little seafood place! I'm from Utah. I made sure I stopped at this restaurant before I went back to Utah. Wish we had Captain D's here.
The lady who took my order was courteous and friendly and preferred no ice in her drink too just like me.
Yes I was back in Captain D's again Wednesday, it was senior discount day 6.99 menu, but I only found out after I ordered, this time the fish seemingly wasn't so greasy ,I just happened to see a wire rack or basket they're allowing the fish to rest on out of the cooker , thanks Captain D's great job freedom drive clt, Deborah was Awesome 😁👌🏼
The Big Fish Sandwich combo is a perfect way to get my quality seafood fix for the day at a manageable price. The bread they use for the sandwich is good. The fish and sauce go together perfectly! I really enjoy the flavor of Captain D's and this location upheld that standard. The inside is also open for indoor dining. This place is clean and there were tons of seats available. Right when I walked in the staff greeted me with a smile and we had a nice interaction. Next time I go I'm trying the Fish Platter!
Nothing special when referring to the entire menu. The fish here is great! My grandmother and grandfather loved this place. The taste is still the same and they actually do have the best tartar sauce if you ask me. I say go around the time they first open for the best freshness and of course if the owner is there the food will definitely be fresh. But give there fish a try and don't forget the tartar sauce!!
The staff were friendly and courteous. The green beans were salty, and I had to talk with the manager about it, and he replaced it with a couple containers of slaw.
Fish is some of the best tasting around. Service is actually quicker than I expect. I would love more specials or perks. You can't go wrong with Captain D's fish

Very busy, but fresh and crispy food. We ate in the restaurant
2nd shift food is always fresh and some are very polite on wed,thur,Friday sat sundays at 4-9
