This was my first time eating here and I am impressed! I thought I would have enough to take home. But it was sooo good to me I ate it all in the resturaunt!! I definitely will be back!

Came in from out of town. I'm a Jamaica so I was glad when I found this restaurant. The place is reasonably clean. Only interacted with one worker who was pleasant. The presentation was reasonable too....taste was good. I think the place though is still work in progress. Washing hands before serving or using gloves...my rice n peas was sweet..and there was too much gravy in my container...the carrot in the curried goat overpowered the taste. Not bashing...I hope the constructive criticism will help for making the restaurant more successful.

I was in Charlotte for work for a few days and came across this restaurant when Google searching a place to eat. My co-worker and I decided to try it for lunch the first day we were there. We enjoyed it so much that we had to go a second time before we left. Jerk chicken is great not as spicy as I'm use to but still great taste and texture. If you are in the Charlotte area I highly recommend this place. Staff was very friendly. If I'm ever in the Charlotte area again I look forward to eating here again

I was so excited to see a Golden Crust!!!! The mild Beef Patty with Cocoa bread was DELICIOUS and the the lunch specials are great!!! Lots of food and absolutely delicious. The Curry Goat had just enough spice and I really enjoyed it. The rice and peas were moist and delicious

This location has improved since the new management has taken over. The food is more authentic, the baked good are from scratch (sweet potato pudding is delish) the curry goat is made with real flavor and spice. The customer service is wonderful. Thank you Susan you truly are breath of fresh air!

Ownership/management changed recently and this place just keeps getting better and better. The staff is pleasant and the service is quick and friendly. But most importantly, the food is excellent!!! Love the curried goat and oxtails and the patties are hot and fresh too. A must try for Jamaican food in Charlotte.

I had some mild beef patties and some slow cooked chicken. The chicken was delicious, the meat just fell off the bone. The beef patties were so delicious, I've never tasted anything like it. I now understand why they run out so quickly. Only downside was the spinach and rice. The flavor of each was nothing compared to the chicken or the patties. Besides that, this place is pretty delicious.

While the food is pretty decent, wonderful flavors. The prices are ridiculously high for the amount of food they give you. But don't expect to get any meat. They ate very cheap with their meat. I bought a large curry goat. Where they put the rice in the entree section of the to go container and the cabbage and meat in the sides section. Once I got home I realized my meat was nothing but chunks of bones. Needless to say I was very disapppinted to spend nearly $20 on rice, cabbage and flavored bones. Highly disappointed. But let me change notes. I contacted the owner Mrs. Suzzette who handled very professionally. She also extends her personal cell phone number so that customers are able to contact her directly. I understand that mistakes happen but witj this kind of management it would make me.come back.

I started off buying Golden Krust products from the grocery store and when I found that there was actual physical location where we lived I was stoked. The food here is great but the service needs a lot of help. The staff is extremely unfriendly, rude and either always on their phones or talking about amongst themselves. This place is really small too so be aware of that. It's hard to find even in this open shopping center area and it is not a restaurant by any stretch of the word... it's meant for takeout.

Well..... So far this place has the best Jamaican cuisine in Charlotte that I've eaten here. Portions are nice with plenty of flavor. Maybe pennies or so more expensive than local competition but well worth it. It's quiet,clean and well worth the trip.
