This place has one of the best rib dinner plates I have had in a while. The Mac and cheese was on point. This is one of the hidden gems in Charlotte. It was hard to find but well worth the search to find it. The staff was nice and welcoming. It felt like going to your parents' house for dinner.

Pork Ribs were prefect, delicious, baked beans and potatoe salad were equally as good, Big Truck parking, quality food. I was pleasantly surprised. They don't always have what you want, but anything that comes from this kitchen will be worth your time and money.

I think that it is worth mentioning that the place next door will charge a semi $10 to park over night. I got to the pilot at 9pm and was not surprised to find it full. It is a good back up and the man will give you a ride to the store.

Hands down the most juicy tender flavorful beef ribs I’ve had, I have been from coast to coast and these bbq ribs my mann can win competitions and his pricing just lovely I literally spent 16 bucks for double the food I would have gotten anywhere else if/when I come back here I hope this place is still here

Best Soul Food and Fried Chicken in Charlotte. I had TWO helpings of Bodrick's Food at the 2014 Soul Food Festival. The fried wings were cooked to perfection and not too salty. The Greens and mac and cheese were spectacular. They even had baked chicken - which was very good with a smokey flavor. I do plan to visit the restaurant.

I've been going to Bodricks for 10+ years. The decor/atmosphere on the scary side. No problem going in the day or night. Will probably make you uncomfortable. The employees are friendly but don't really answer the phone for take out. I continue to go because the rib tip boat is out of this world! They come with fries wonderfully drenched with the tastiest of Northern (Chicago style) rib sauce. Don't expect carolina BBQ. This stuff is 10x better. The long wait and hang time is terrible but once you get your order, you will be hooked. The wait is worth it. I just can't stay away from these great ribs!

Food is great;owners are even better. The rib tips are to die for. They are tender, juicy, full flavored and they give you big portions for a good price!<br/>Unfortunately, the wait is too long and they do not have them each time you order or you have to wait 3 or 4 hours.
