Our family has been looking for an Indian restaurant similar in quality to Blue Taj in Ballantyne since we north moved to Huntersville. We've finally found it. CLOVE was an outstanding experience: spacious, beautifully decorated dining room, wonderfully gracious staff, perfectly presented delicious food, large portions and extremely reasonable prices. Don't forget to try their homemade ice cream.
It's a place that's easy to overlook in its upstairs location, but it's 100% worth the elevator trip for a visit.
Highly recommended. We'll be back.
The restaurant is very nice, the servers have excellent behavior and the owner is as humble as it gets. The cook is amazing.
Was skeptical with earlier reviews. Glad i was proven wrong. The food is awesome just like home. Felt light after a perfect course and happy. First time in charlotte finishing of with a desert, now that should state my taste buds are satisfied. Come in and enjoy a perfect exp, without feeling like restaurant made food.

I had the chicken tiki Masala and mango lasse. No complaints on the food, best I ever had. I think this place is new. Go for the food, you won’t regret it. The atmosphere was a tad chaotic. That is the only reason why I give it 4 stars. The service was mediocre at best, the servers weren’t rude, just seemed like they didn’t have a system worked out yet. The decor was a little odd, but nothing offending. I’d totally go back here, try it you’ll like it!
Wow! Came here on a Sunday and the buffet was outstanding!! I was blown away by the depth of flavor in each dish and ate waaaay to much because it was amazing. Dosas were fresh and delicious, light heat on all dishes. Dessert was also amazing! I can not recommend this place enough.
I have been in Charlotte for almost for 3 years and I have visited almost all the Indian restaurants. The food in Clove Indian cuisine was amazing and the ambiance was excellent. Most of my Favorites were Ulavacharu Biryanies, Chicken lollipop and Chicken 99.Overall I really liked it and recommend for others.
Great food, every item. Brought us a substantial complementary appetizer, too. Very pleasant ambiance. Service wasn’t fast, but we weren’t in a hurry; if you’re strapped for time, maybe make another choice. We were there for a total of about an hour.
This was our 2nd time trying Clove Indian Restaurant and it was so delicious. The people are friendly and the portions are very generous. I would recommend trying this restaurant.
