I had just been (literally) left in the cold by my car rental roadside assistance for over 2 hours, and decided to prepare for my inevitable missed flight and hotel stay. I hopped in to grab refreshments and use the restroom. You happily helped me reach a box of red wine just out of reach, and once I relayed my story you insisted I hang out in the store until the assistance arrived.
What I didn't mention mention is that I had just visited a gravely ill family member, and it was the foundation of a really stressful day. Your kindness and empathy truly meant a lot, and gave me the strength to deal with the rental car representatives soon after leaving.
