Good middle of the road Mexican restaurant. Their salsa is fresh and house made, and the chicken enchiladas are tasty.
I have eaten at Maria Bonita for the last few years and I loved the service and food very much they always get the order correct and treated everyone well, I'm going to keep going back time after time
Wow. I can't believe people actually voted that they didn't like this place. We loved it. It used to inspire a trip south to Trader Joes (before the new Midtown one opened). In fact, it was the highlight of the trip.
The pollo con crema (jalapeno crema) is awesome....spicy, but tasty. I loved the nachos. They don't have much seating space, so either call ahead or show up early.
Maria Bonita's Cantina & Grill is the setting of our latest review. When you first walk in there is a huge staircase in the middle of the restaurant.. its a bit bigger than I think is needed but looks cool nonetheless.
Whatever you do, whatever you order, make sure to get the Dip Ole (queso with grilled shrimp pico de gallo, and artichokes) and a top shelf margarita on the rocks. Just these two items alone would make a perfect meal. But why stop there? They have all the standard dishes nailed: tacos, quesadillas, enchiladas, you name it.
The service was great. Prices were high compared to the portion sizes I experienced. Quality in my opinion was lower than I'd expected. Salsa for the complimentary chips and salsa might have been the best tasting part of the meal. Pico de gallo was excellent however! Not sure I'll return here when in the area.
Great experience. I brought my two boys (2 and 4) to have dinner. The food was really good and the service was excellent! The boys loved the food and music and there was even crayons all ready in a bowl at the table when we got there. Will be a regular going forward.
This place is my fave! I own a company with my bro and dad, and we have "Mexican Friday" lunch every week! We have tried a number of places and settled here...I CAN'T leave! It's the BEST! I am a vegetarian and get their veggie burrito or veggie fajitas pretty much every time- SO GOOD! They have the best salsa/cheese dip combo (they give the big one) and make homemade hot sauce, which is clutch, because I don't like the bottled stuff at all! Their staff is super nice too...they are attentive and sweet, but not annoying! Check 'em out, best place in town, I think. THANK YOU!!!! Yummm....wish it was Friday right meow :)))))))))
This restaurant is a hidden gem! Authentic Mexican dishes, from appetizers to main courses, even the nacho chips and dips are excellent. I had the arrachera steak topped with pineapple and wife had the tacos. Service is top notch and prices are very reasonable for the quality of food provided.
Near excellent Mexican style restaurant. I ordered the shrimp ceviche and the fajitas texan for the entre. The ceviche was great with many chunks of shrimp in it. The fajitas also had many juicy chucks of shrimp, chicken, and beef. The only thing missing would be some sour cream and cheese but they will bring it if you ask. Overall excellent with very nice service.

Delicious fajitas. Guacamole is yummy. Salsa pretty good...just not a big fan of the huge chunks of raw onion. Overall an excellent place for Mexican food!!
Coming to this restaurant was amazing. Coming from Mexico myself the food served here made me feel like I was home. Truly recommend, good price and very good management, excellent!

Good food, really the only Mexican place within 15 minutes. Friendly staff, and our to go orders are always accurately prepared and waiting on us when we get there
