I've been to plenty of W.H in my time. I just moved here about 2 months ago and this by far has been the best W.H yet. It was clean (super plus), everyone was super friendly, the food was sooo good. Hard to believe someone can mess up breakfast but I've been to other locations that had just that...but E Independence location is definitely somewhere I will visit again.
After our first two choices for Easter Sunday breakfast were closed, I headed to the nearest Waffle House knowing they would be open. A little busy so we waited about five minutes for two seats at the counter to open, then we were seated.
Melvin took great care of us during a busy late morning rush. While we watched, they were calling out orders, all six waffle irons were busy and eventually, we got our food in three different shifts.
I went with my usual hash brown bowl with ham and eggs and cheese. My wife went all the way with an All Star, which meant I got half of her toast and half of her city ham and a very small bite of her waffle.
Super busy, super friendly, very good breakfast for two at a really great price.
It's been a couple of weeks since I went there, and I usually visit a place more than once and I also usually take pictures of my food before I give reviews, but I can confidently say that the food was perfect, the atmosphere and the staff had a great vibe and energy. Even the customers there were cool that day lol. My fiance is from Charlotte and she says the service and food has always been that way.
Will definitely be returning..
Food is amazing. It tastes great and super quick. The waitress was very attentive and quick. Great experience.
Taylor served us tonight and was amazing! She got to us immediately and was super kind. The food was done minutes after ordering and tasted good. Would definitely recommend coming to this location!

Look folks, this is a Waffle House. Standard 24 hour short order roadside kitchen. Excellent for it's simplicity and efficiency. There is not much to say beyond that.
She wasn't the friendliest server, but not the worst. My "other" is a die-hard WH fan...he looks them up everywhere we go.
The food came out VERY fast, the service was wonderful and my boyfriend and I had a great experience there. If Vanessa is working, she will take great care of you. 10/10 would recommend stopping at this Waffle House!
