I am from the NYC area and this is the best New York style pizza in Charlotte!! Plus everything else on the menu is great, the cheese steak is great!! I highly recommend this place, don't be fouled by the other so called pizzeria's.

I wish they would stop calling their fries "freedom fries". That was dumb when it started, and it's only gotten dumber since.
My Search has ended. I am an Italian from Ct and love living in Charlotte but missed good affordable pizza...until my friend found Tony's. I love the pizza,calzones,fried ravioli and the pizza again. It is not high priced the pies are big and the service is great. I love it

My husband and I were on the hunt for some good pizza slices and came across Tony’s pizza! The slices were huge and tasted awesome… most places you can tell that it is a reheated cheese pizza with toppings added… but not here he tasted like the slice came from a huge fresh new pizza!
Food is amazing. Pizza is huge and garlic knots are great. Service can really be a hit or miss. Docking a star because of that and because their sweet tea frequently is not sweet.
We;ve seen this place for a while, and were missing out by not coming here. This place has true NYC pizza. The garlic nots are also extremely good here. You can order by the slice or full pizza. There were many people dinning in and doing carry out. The service was fast and efficient. Pizza is very good and worth checking out.
I'm writing this review while I eat because I don't want to forget. 06/19/23 12:30. I ordered the Stromboli with ham mushrooms and jalapeños. SPOT ON!!! KUDOS TO THE COOK! The meal is fresh and hot and they did not skimp on the meats. I will be back!
We just moved to this area and had been wanting to try Tony's for several days. I must say we were very pleasantly surprised! We ordered online for pickup and the food was ready on-time and was very hot and fresh even after we got it back to our apartment.
We got the Cheesy Garlic bread, which was not smothered in cheese but very sufficient. It was, however, very buttery with a strong garlic flavor. The marinara dipping sauce was some of the best I've had. Delicious. We also tried the fried mushrooms which were excellent as well.
Our main entree was a 15" Pizza with pepperoni, mushrooms, and black olives. I have tobsay it was up with the top best 2 or 3 pizzas I've ever had. Perfect crust, great sauce, and the mushrooms were fresh! So many places use canned mushrooms and it's just not the same.
A+++ will definitely be going here again. Can't wait to try the calzones and subs.
Tony's Pizza is a little pricy but fully worth it in my opinion. Stromboli is on point and everything I've tried is legit. There will most likely be a bit of a wait for your order but them being busy is a testament to how good it really is.
The most authentic NY style pizza around. I had forgotten about it and recently went back and was so delighted. Start with the plain pie, or pepperoni. Eat in and the crust will have a nice crunch to it.
This is the best pizza in town. Thin crust, delicious seasoning, perfection!!! The staff is upbeat and seemed to enjoy being at work. I really can’t gush enough over how much I like this pizza!!
Pretty darn good. Location was a little hard for me to navigate, but only because I'm not familiar with the area.
Food was hot and fresh, and my youngest 2 really enjoyed their food.
We've been twice so far within a fairly short time. 1st order was wings, mozzarella sticks, a Philly cheesesteak, and a Blanco (they call it bianco) pizza. The pizza had ricotta, mozzarella, and a white sauce. My boys loved it! Everything else was good too.
The veggie pizza is amazing! Worth every penny.
The quality and freshness is the best. Their garlic knots are great too. :)
