Today was a special day. I was able to break bread with POPEYS off Wilkinson Blvd, Charlotte.
The young lady taking my order at the drive through was polite and even though it was barely after 11am the cook expedited my order.

Love the food. But some of the employees are just there for a check. Some (not all) have their heads in other places and barely interested in being engaging. HOWEVER, the food is usually good.
I rarely eat fast food but the fried chicken was amazing. The meat was cooked all the way through and the crunch was as desired. I don't frequent Popeyes but while I'm in the area I will always go to this one.
I favor Popeyes over other chicken fast food spots. Theirs taste better. I decided to try the mac n cheese and was blown away at how good it tasted ! The drive thru line is the ONLY reason I'm giving a 4 star rating....it was long and slow. But I was happy that I waited. The young lady with dreadlocks at the window had great energy, was very nice, and helpful, despite that there was only her and the cook working. The blackened chicken sandwich
