Every single bite was delicious! Pisco sours and mojito were perfection, a perfect mix of refreshing, sweetness and alcohol. We ate duck dumplings, lamb and scallops, all cooked to perfection with flavorful well thought out accompanying sides and sauces. If you want the best food and drinks in town as well as top notch service check this place out.

I'd love the music playlist; contributes to rhe relaxed setting. It's instrumental so you can still have a conversation with your friends
The menu is really different and ecletic and i absolutely love it. It challenges you to try different flavor combinations you otherwise wouldnt order or try.
My favorite are rhe Chesapeake deviled eggs and the sweet potato chess pie.
We opted for the spring menu 3-course special for $35 including appetizers entree and dessert.
Crystal was our server and she was very attentive and personable.
Yashira gave us in depth details about each food options and how the flavors compliment and contrast each other. If i didnt have an appreciate for culinary before I definitely do now.
They have local brews from Lenny Boy on tap and plenty of unique cocktial and wine options.
Definitely recommend and definitely will be back.

The food is outstanding! We had chicken pesto naan bread, Korean ribs with crispy rice, parmesan zucchini frites, bbq wings, drunken fries, a margarita, and a garden variety bourbon cocktail. The food was hot and prompt after ordering entrees.
The dining area is quaint and dark. The upstairs lounge area is cozy and great to hear live music. The staff and owners were great to interact with each of us.

I came for the cocktail selection. The pisco sour is amazing -- refreshing and fruity without crappy sour mix as Loft and Cellar make their own. Amazing vibe and it wasn't crowded yet early on Friday evening. I will be back to try their food!

Absolutely 100% the most fun ever! Great atmosphere. The downstairs (Cellar) is really chic and nice for drinks, food & friends. The upstairs (Loft) is where you can be loose, dance, sing at the top of your lungs. It's rare to find a cool spot where ppl aren't pretentious and get great service. L & C has it all. The drinks were amazing - be sure to have Hannah or Alex make Desert Wynd - yum! The food was great and the staff was fast and friendly. Amazing band Saturday night! Loft & Cellar will definitely be a spot I keep in my regular rotation

The long version is this:
Our visit to this restaurant was one of the best experiences purely due to the professionalism, friendliness and attention of the staff. Our server Kierra, was attentive, polite and a joy to be waited by. The manager on staff blew us away from the start. We sat at a 2 person table and without us verbally expressing it, he perceived we preferred to sit side by side rather than across from one another. He moved us to make us more comfortable doing this with genuine attention and care. When we got to our dinner one of our dishes wasn't quite agreeing with our personal taste and again, the manager completely blew us away. He perceived something was amiss, asked us our opinion and thoughts about the dish and sat down to discuss the variations they had available that we would enjoy best, highlighting the options that would cater to our tastes. Never have we had such a genuine conversation with someone in the service industry. This experience could have left us paying the bill and not returning and instead made us fans of this establishment because of the people it employs and the attention and environment it provides.

Went to Loft & Cellar for their new menu roll out this week. They did 3 course meal for $40. The server was knowledge, food came out in a timely manner, portions were great to share or do your own thing. Bartender came by to ask how our cocktails were and the chef came by to say hello! Lighting is comfortable and the music is at a good volume to have a conversation. Great place for a date night or a business meeting. Make sure you save room for dessert!

What a great dinner! I had the opportunity to host a 25th anniversary for a colleague and Manager Matt set us up with a great space and excellent service. Food was delicious and the drink and wine selection were great. We had the whole upstairs to ourselves, providing a great experience for out whole party. Thanks for accommodating our large group.

I'm vegetarian and my friend follows a kosher diet - our server was amazing about this and accomodated our dietary concerns beyond our expectations. The chef made me a stir fry and her a veggie plate - both were tasty, hearty, and actual meals. So impressed and so grateful to the staff and chef for being so great!

Everything about this place is five stars: the atmosphere, the amazing and always-updating menu, the FOOD (chef is incredible), and most importantly the people.
I've worked in customer service for 13 years so when I have a great experience I want to tell everybody. Loft & Cellar goes above and beyond. I highly recommend.

Will definitely be back! We had a party of 10 and service was great, but the food was excellent. From burgers to short ribs we had numerous dishes and each one was delicious. Not one single complaint.

SALIM IS THE BEST!!! He is the best bartender in Charlotte! Literally all you have to do is tell him the flavor you like and he’ll make the PERFECT drink for you! Food is great but the service and drinks from SALIM just made my night. Super friendly and nice also.

My husband and I have been raving about Loft and Cellar since the beginning. Service, atmosphere, and fare is unmatched. My personal favorite drink is the MFBJ - so delicious. Personal favorite dish is the Southern Pad Thai. We always have great conversation with the bartenders and waitstaff. Sometimes it feels like our own hidden gem in Uptown. We would love to see it continue to do well and advertised more!

Based on previous reviews I would agree it is slightly on the pricey side however the food is amazing. Our group got 2 appetizers, 4 entrees and 2 sides to share and everything was amazing. No cellar open yet due to permit issues but if they get that going would be awesome for a large group meal.
