Great portion size and taste. It is a bit pricey for chinese takeout, though. I haven't tried their Thai food just yet, but the quality is definitely good in the chinese food department. Some of their fried chicken entrees do feel old, especially the sweet entrees. But if you go for something other than that, the food is awesome.

Food is great and always hot. But to my sad regret, the hot and sour soup seems like it underwent a recipe change.

Take out only. Food is quick and tasty. The menu is huge with an assortment of either Thai or Chinese food. Have tried them a couple of times and always had a great experience.

Not a bad first experience. We ordered take out and it was ready in 15 minutes. My wife got the General Tso's which wasn't too spicey compared to most restaurants. The shrimp fried rice was good and both portions were large enough for leftovers. The egg rolls were surprisingly the best I've had compared to most local restaurants. We will definitely come here again.

Great quality selection at great competitive prices. The dishes are authentic and taste fantastic. You'd be surprised at how much you can learn about the culture just from dining in somewhere. I'm always open to learning something new. I rate Chi Thai ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ for its great atmosphere and vast selection. See ya soon, thanks guys! 👍👍

Delicious Chinese food with larger than expected portions. I was able to order dinner and complete weekly shopping inside the Harris Teeter while waiting for the food. I would highly recommend this whole in the wall restaurant!

I have been a Charlotte resident my entire life. I have been to many many asian takeout joints in this town. The worst, is Cottage Express on N Tryon. The best, is Pepperos for Korean & Chi Thai for Chinese and Thai. Mr. Chet has been treating my family with the utmost respect and feeding my family with the utmost ingredients for almost two long decades. What is amazing is that these prices are very comparable to some chinese takeout places in town, yet to put them side by side wouldn't even be fair. It is ludicrous how high quality this food is. They are quick and efficient too, to bring you delicious hot meals. I imagine I have eaten food here at least 100-200 times and I can count on two hands how many mistakes with an order have been made, and it was always a different dish ordered, never anything missing. And any time I received a wrong thing I had absolutely no problem getting it fixed.(mind you this happened maybe 6-8 times over the course of 150+ visits across many years) I cannot recommend this place enough, I live on the entirely other side of town now almost 30 miles away and still take the bus down here occasionally just to eat. It is takeout only, however the Starbucks right next to it has no problem with you sitting and eating there. Be sure to pick up a can of Arizona green tea from the Harris Teeter deli to complement your meal. I recommend the scallion chicken if you love sweet & tangy. I have been coming to this restaurant for 23 years. The owner, Chet, is a very friendly man and is great at remembering people and orders. The food is always very good quality. It is located inside of Harris teeter and is currently take out only.

Only ordered from here a couple of times but I wasn't disappointed either time. Good portions, plenty of the right flavors for the dishes I ordered. Acceptable wait time even though they appeared busy. I will definitely be back!

Surprisingly good Pan-Asian take out only located in the lobby of the local grocery store. Food is prepared quickly, but is not the standard drab "Americanized" version that you'd expect to find here. Ask for spicy, and you will get it spicy. Everything was reasonably priced, portions were proper, and quality was very good.

B- :Since Chet has left we've seen some slight changes. The nephew is not as friendly or talkative. The wife doesn't talk at all. The prices have increased and on 2 seperate occasions the shrimp in my shrimp and broccoli was mushy to a point I could not eat it. The fried noodles for soup has changed to packaged noodles. Aside from that the quality has remained consistent and usually above most. Overall a great week day I don't feel like cooking place. We average about 40 a week here for the 4 of us.

The food was good. It's convenient if you are in the area. Reasonable prices for the quality and amount of food. I would give five stars, but the estimated time for my order was way off.
