Stopped in for first-time visit on 11/20/23. Entry way has books to take/exchange. Nice! Outdoor seating in front under umbrellas. Surprising selections of beers and ales, lots of baked goods, breakfast all day and a full vegan menu. Coffees and baked goods are reasonably priced. I got a 12 oz mocha latte and a huge blueberry muffin for $7. Both were excellent. BTW, they also have a surprising selection of wines from around the world. I picked up 2 bottles of nice Italian wine to take to the fam for Thanksgiving. Friendly staff, warm vibes. Come visit this place; it's a happy little surprise. 😊
Got up this morning, looked for vegan breakfast in Charlotte and by my surprise, there was this lovely locally owned restaurant with lots of vegan options a few blocks away from me in Merry Oaks. I dined in and adored the quaint seating area, with local arts for sale and the self serve condiment counter. It had everything you would ever need. The service was excellent and friendly. They answered all my quesions easily. The vegan food was great. I had the Vegan AF and coffee. Affordable prices and tons of vegan desserts too! We bought some after we ate to go. After being in Charlotte and vegan for 18 yrs, it's awesome having restaurants like this to support.
Ah, Deli Street. My classic spot for hangover recovery sandwiches and all things good and nourishing. The Cindy’s Turkey on sourdough is so incredible and trustworthy. It is always perfect, every time. The staff is sweet. You feel at home here. But the food is the best part. Just when you start to feel like “I can’t think of anything good to eat that I can go get really quick/ going to be fast AND incredible…” you remember Deli St exists and all is well again.
Great place to eat with lots of vegan options! Very friendly staff and the owner is so sweet. Vegan breakfast options are the best! They also sell tacos on weekend evenings and WOW. The traditional tacos I've been craving for years. I could eat 40 of them. Cindy is so nice and always makes us feel like family.
A few people had recommended Deli Street and we were anxious to check it out.

Ample parking, a fun entry with cute plaques about coffee & a lending library, interesting artwork (some for sale), a menu with lots of choices, super clean, friendly staff, and good vibes.
They have a vegan menu and a non-vegan menu so there is something for everyone!
They are very dog-friendly and have a nice outdoor seating area.
Most importantly, the food is fantastic!! We got sandwiches and hash browns, and desserts to go. The vegan BLT on house bread was out of this world and the coconut cake was delectable and decadent (and I got 3 portions out of it), as was a huge cookie with nuts on it. All homemade.
They are in the happening Plaza Midwood neighborhood, easy to get to, and even have a drive through.
Highly recommend and we'll definitely be back.
My girlfriend bought me a vegan cake from here and when we went to pick it up we decided to have brunch. There were incredible vegan options (the best vegan breakfast we have had in CLT). Their ice lattes were incredible and you can get them with CBD. The service was phenomenal (the lady who helped us was the absolute best and super accommodating). The crew even sang me happy birthday and made my day so special. Overall, this is our new spot for brunch. This is a hidden gem. I definitely recommend whether you are vegan or not. They go above and beyond.

My girlfriend and I had La Jarocha Torta and a Buffalo Chix Sandwhich, both vegan. It was so delicious!! Honestly other places like common market are so overrated. Deli St. has delicious vegan food with so much flavor. They’re staff is awesome too. Never disappoints, thank you for the great food!!
I got the steak sandwhich it is amazing. Customer service is great and the food comes out quick and tastes amazing.
Stopped by for a sandwich on a Monday afternoon. Upon entering it's a little overwhelming, there are so many options for sandwiches, vegan and "regular"??, along with smoothies, drinks, chips and other snack goods. After reviewing the menu for a bit, went with the country club sandwich, and it arrived a few minutes later. The staff is super friendly and helpful btw! The sandwich was pressed and tasty, with fresh ingredients, cheese and mustard with just the right amount of tang. I would definitely return for another, or perhaps to try a breakfast sandwich in the AM.
