This is the spot for 30 plus on a Saturday night. The drinks were great, it's very clean and classy. It wasn't overly crowded. Servers were catering. We listening to live music until 12 with a live DJ during intermissions. Nice size dance floor. No drama. Will definitely be back.

Sydney's is a great place with a great atmosphere. I enjoyed my time there. The only thing that was a slight downfall what's the menu is only limited to appetizers, little plate items. Other than that fantastic place. The DJ was awesome as well and so were the employees there.

Love, love, love the live music! The service is also great. I've been there twice. First time the food was delicious, the second time it was ok. But I will definitively return again😀

Parking garage below, and they validate. Great martinis. They make a pretty good Tom Collins as well. Ordered their chicken. Sliders. They were good, but the pickle that came on it was a butter pickle and that's blasphemy to me. Overall, a solid place!

I was visiting Charlotte for the first time and thinking about relocating there. Sydney's was suggested to me and friend. I went and had a great time with the grown and sexy crowd. The band was real nice (Jazzy instrumentals) and the singer Thea was very professional and had a real nice sound and real nice repertoire. My drink was nice as well as my appertizer (chicken quesadilla). The spot had a real nice feel to it with the warm amber colors of the room and the comfortable lounge area.
My waitress was real nice, and accommodating.

Very relaxed and cozy atmosphere! I thoroughly enjoyed the live jazz band. It had an authentic New Orleans-type feel, with a hint of Carolina pride! I am from Louisiana and am always looking for somewhere to make me feel like I have traveled back home. This place is one of the closest experiences that I have had to that...the only drawbacks were that there was not enough room to sit, dance area was minimal, not enough food selection, and the pricing was expensive. I would, however, go back because it's rare to have so many good qualities in one place and I was in VERY good company! Actually LOVED it!

Love this place. Always talented live music and a wide selection of delicious martinis. Food is ok, but they coild be 5 stars if food selection is upgraded. Parking is frre because they stamp, a definite plus uptown.

Upscale? Meh. Both the live music and service were great. However, I ordered the flatbread which was a lukewarm disaster. I would say it tasted frozen, but honestly, I've had better DiGiorno. My first Martini was pretty good, so I decided to try others. They were not as good, because the bartender on duty was a little heavy with the sour. I had to request other ingredients to balance the drinks. I would visit again just based on the music and atmosphere, though.

Music is a little loud but it is a small venue. Could definitely use better choices for appetizers as I had to look at menu several times before deciding. Service was interesting as we had 3 different waiters/waitresses and one of the owners to serve our table! Cucumber melon Martini was wonderful though!

My bestfriend was visiting from up North for her birthday and I heard that the atmosphere at Sydneys was my style. It was my first time there as well and I will have to say the live band and the crowd was perfect. My problem was with the drinks and the food. Lets begin with the food, the chicken quesadilla was the best thing we ordered but the chicken nachos and buffalo dip were so salty we couldnt eat them. The buffalo dip had an overpowering vinegar taste that made them not appetizing at all. For the drinks when you display a drink a certain way when the consumer orders it its expected to look the same way. Im sure due to the high volume that night the staff was left with only wine glasses to serve in, now whether or not you handle stem ware on a regular, sight is perception. We were ordering drinks that were displayed in a fairly large martini glass which can hold around 10oz but all our drinks were served in a wine glass which is around 8.8oz or so for that, so as the consumer I felt cheated. The most important thing for me at that time was making sure my guest were enjoying themselves and they did, thank you for that. Me on the other felt cheated because I paid for all the drinks and didnt feel I got my monies worth at all. I will definitely go back because everything else was great but I will not purchase any food or alcohol from there.

Bar staff was excellent...Never felt neglected! Chicken minis were delicious! I would have liked more of a verity of food choices. Other than that 5 star's for me! Will visit again!

I went this past Saturday nite and I personally have no complaints.. I explained to the waitress that I only drink Water with Lemons and she kept the water flowing all nite🤗🤗I had the buffalo dip and it was very tasty😋..The Live Band Affectual was awesome and the DJ was Jamming too!!! I totally enjoyed the mature crowd And will definitely BE BACK👏🏾

This was my first time visiting for my 39th bday and I thoroughly enjoyed myself! Drinks were literally a concoction that I told the bar tender I wanted and she made them perfectly! The staff was phenomenal as well. I will definitely be returning soon! 2/2/18

The live band was great, the atmosphere was grown and sexy, loved the drinks. I heard the food was good but the changed the menu to appetizers. The food was not good. BB meatballs really this is not a baby shower. We had to beg for our tickets to pay. We did not get them until they were closing. Band left before we did. I will go back only for drinks and band. Please work on the menu and service.

was visiting from DC.. nice atmosphere, band was ready to leave by the time we got there. DJ was spinning, Drinks were popping and I didn't get a chance to hollow at the handsome man who ordered the Corona..lol.. the place was empty, staff was mopping and cleaning but said they were not closing.. we left.. no happenings.. but still had fun with my family.. #FOE
