Review Brazwell's Premium Pub - Charlotte

Brazwells is a great weekend spot with a nice patio and usually good drink specials. On Saturdays and Sundays they have a really nice $4 Bloody Mary bar and $2 Mimosas. Usually pretty busy during sports. Good place to get appetizers, wings, drinks. Food is good, but service is always just okay. Parking can be hit or miss because it such a small area with a lot of places to eat. This is one of the “funner” places in Ballantyne.

Very pleasant experience. A bit long between waitress visits, but overall experience was good. Atmosphere was above average, friendly staff and when we walked out, a manager called after us and thanked us for coming and gave a warm, "come back soon" with a smile. Food was plentiful and tasty. Took average time for the food yo arrive to the table, nothing negative there.

Went with a group after work and I wasn't expecting much due to some recent reviews. Our experience was outstanding so I thought it needed to be rated. Our server, Jessica, was about as good as you could ask for. She was attentive and helpful with a ready smile. The one mistake from the kitchen she recognized immediately and took care of so quickly it was barely a blip on the experience. The food was delivered timely, hot and everyone was happy with their choices. Personally I had the bacon wrapped meatloaf which was quite tasty and I'd recommend it to anyone. Overall the rating was earned.

Thrilling dinner experience! Lucky enough to score a seat on the upstairs outdoor patio. Great views and friendly staff, coupled with the hip atmosphere was amazing. Food was exceptional! First visit hand down left my friend and I eager for another visit. Oh, and the margaritas were delicious!!!

Really good food. Great sweet potato fries. Super fun atmosphere. Always super cold so bring a jacket if sitting inside. The full service rooftop bar is a blast too. They have heaters up there as well as on the downstairs patio.

Good food, friendly servers and bartenders. The upstairs (when weather permits it open) is a great place to watch the sunset, unwind with some friends and a few cocktails. I've eaten a variety of entree's here and been pleased with almost all of them.

Cool spot for happy hour. The rooftop is kinda small and they don't have taps up there. The wait staff will bring drinks up to you but I kinda feel bad for asking. It can get packed on the weekend.

General manager was an awesome server. Very personable and engaging. He made sure we had a good night. Food was pretty good too. You should stop by and check this place out!

This seems like a really good bar. The food is top notch. The servers are friendly, however, they are all women. That is to say, this place is one step down from a hooters restaurant. Seriously...It's like jailbait central. Make of that what you will.

Provides a not-outside-the-norm sports bar experience. For best results, visit in decent weather and hang out on the rooftop bar. Service quality can be difficult to gauge on a given day, but staff is friendly.

Bartenders/servers are friendly and personable. Great after hour bites and dj/musicians for entertainment. Nice roof top bar and outside play area make for a cool night with friend's. UFC fights offered with a very small cover ($3 for the McGregor fight). Definitely a cool Balantyne spot that is NOT overly crowded and full of idiots.

Wow. I would give 0 stars if it was an option. Service was probably the worst I've ever had and that is not an exaggeration. Let me say too that I have worked in the front of house of restaurants for the last 10 years. So, Party of four and a baby, gave us 3 silverware. Asked for a fourth silverware multiple times before having to go inside from the patio and get it from the hostess. Asked for a car seat sling multiple times before they brought a high chair out and said "it's all we have". It took 10+ minutes to be greeted, 10 more to get drinks and approximately 50 minutes after we arrived to get food (which came out wrong, keep reading) and they were NOT busy. Don't know if our server Meghan was hungover or just really didn't want to be there but her section was a full on dumpster fire and she was hardly ever around it. Took an order for four people without writing it down, and guess what, when it finally came out, food order was wrong. She either put it in wrong or expo sent it out missing numerous things. Steak was ordered medium, came out rare. Eggs were cooked at least 15 minutes before steak was "finished". Another dish that was basically a hash was missing multiple ingredients. Asked for a manager and she came out and was hardly helpful, complained about our server and then NEVER came back to check on us. Had to ask the hostess for a steak knife multiple times before I got one. Then when it was time to pay, no apology from anyone but the hostess, no comp, no discount even though some of us hardly touched the food. Had to go inside to pay our check at full price. Top to bottom an EPIC FAIL. Don't waste your money on Brunch here. Maybe a good place to get a drink but I'll never find out. Hopefully ownership reads these reviews and takes corrective action. Based on everything else I've seen online this place won't last through the end of this year if they don't make changes.

By far the worst service and food and waitress/manger experience I’ve ever had.. took 20 minutes for someone to seat even after 4 waitresses saw us walk through the door.. After receiving our food, took another 30 minutes to get utensils/condiments/napkins to actually eat our food The manager didn’t care about the experience and how bad of service we were receiving.. she did offer that our food was on them.. Half way through the burger my husband found a blonde hair.. once again no manger and no waitress in sight to complain.. When you repeatedly have bad service in 1 seating, waiters whose IQ couldn’t be more than 10 and a manger that doesn’t care, there is no reason why I would even give it a 1

Brunch was delicious - best grits I ever had, and omelette was perfect size and cooked well. The waitress was very attentive, and on point. They had me at make your own Bloody Mary bar. Will definitely go back and recommend to friends.

Great place to chill out and have some good food, good beer, and great music. Also the teriyaki wings were fantastic! Service was nice and friendly too.

I used to really like this place. Still OK but the chef has changed and it's not the same. The zucchini fries used to be my favorite because they cut them in bigger sizes than most places but now they are small and full of batter and grease. Most of the staff are nice but I have seen a few that just look pissed and walk around rolling their eyes!!! I hardly go here anymore!!!

No one at the door to seat us. After waiting a few minutes, we seated ourselves. Waited too long for our waitress, and after our drink and dinner order, waited way too long for our food. Ordered a bowl of Chili, and got a cup. Waitress apologized and very nicely said, "Please keep the cup, I'll get you a bowl." Proper response. She came back in 2 minutes and said, "I'm sorry, my manager said I have to bring the cup back to bring the bowl." Excuse me? I told her that was very poor customer care, and you are just going to throw the cup out, correct? I reached up and took the cup from her hand and said, "no, I think I will keep the cup. You can tell your manager she is welcome to come and have a conversation with me." The waitress was polite, the General Manager Tim Hauser came and had a charming conversation with us prior to this incident. But, the manager, Sharon, who apparently recently transferred from the Montford Brazwell's, seemed to display very poor leadership skills (not supporting her employees in their decisions in customer service), poor customer service response, (she should have come to the table and responded to the issue personally), and did nothing as a courtesy because of the incident. Brazwell's, patronage is precious these days. There are a lot of other restaurants competing for your business. Poor leadership can sink the whole ship. Perhaps Sharon is out of her league. Reconsider. Won't be back.

One of the best rooftop bars in charlotte. Great food and $2 wells on Mondays. I know where I'll be spending Monday night football! My only complaint is the wobbly tables and chairs which our server fixed immediately. Her name was Brittany I recommend requesting her. If you haven't been here yet, GO!

We came last night for New Years, the salads were okay, the crab cakes were DELICIOUS, and the cake was too :). I would recommend it again. I was kind of disappointed that we didn't get hats and other 'party favors' like many others, and I know it's sounds silly but still. Service was good, but almost over whelming because we were constantly being asked by about five different people if we needed anything! Other than that is was good and I would definitely recommend it and return :)

I regularly eat at the one on Montford and its one of my favorite places to eat in all of Charlotte. The worst thing you can do is come to this place and expect any sort of similarities . The fries, to the burgers, sandwiches and wings are all a huge left down. I love the roof top and side patio and will come back I will NEVER eat here again total disaster.

It's always my go to place. Comfortable, good food, great drinks (try the Music City - Jack mule), and I always get good service. Love this place!

10-21-16 I went to Brazwells to have dinner with a friend. The staff was very hospitable and professional. The food and drinks were great! There was a family there celebrating a 50th birthday. In a matter of time we were celebrating with them, taking pictuers, and they even gave us cake! The family friendly atmosphere at Brazwells made this dining experience one to remember forever! I go because of the stellar service I receive on Wednesday night from Felisha! She is the best bartender ever. Emily is great too and Ginny is a great server. They all make you feel like you are a welcomed guest, serve you quickly and check on you regularly.

Good food and had a wonderful server, mac n cheese off the chain
