The place is amazing. The chef had me try different levels of flavors and tastes. He built my order customized. He had given me 2 styles of sauces. I picked one but when the order came out it almost tasted like the first that I felt was way too sweet.
I should have asked for a little cup of spicy sauce too try to correct it, but with the carrots, it was just way too sweet. So partly my fault. The spring rolls came out room temp, so I think they were dropped to early and had to wait on the carrots and broccoli in my bowl to cook. But they were just average overall.
I will definitely come back when I'm the area and try other combos. Great staff!

The food was excellent with a great combination of sauces that created quite a unique flavor that I thoroughly enjoyed. I went with the chef's choice after answering his questions about what flavors and spice levels I preferred. Definitely adding to my lists for lunch!

The food was amazing! We were greeted by a young lady that asked us our food preferences and how much spice we liked. She then grabbed us a few samples of rice with a sauce according to our preferred heat level and that is what sealed the deal of me getting a rice bowl!
This establishment will not disappoint your palette!

Raja is a no holds barred owner and the most genuine, humble, kind, and welcoming owner of this establishment. His food is amazing; made fresh and to order, hot, aromatic and plentiful; and his mastery to know customer names and their "typical" orders is beyond exceptional customer service. Don't let his authentic self deter you from enjoying tasty [made with love and care] food. He is funny, charismatic, wholesome, and passionate about what he does and how he serves his community. I eat there at least once a week ordering the Charleston bowl with white rice, shrimp and beef [no pico]

The owner came into the restaurant I work at to place an order but we had a mix up on our end, so we gave him his order for free as an apology. He was so unbelievably kind and understanding, he then offered to bring us food from his restaurant as a thank you. He brought us the Curried Jerky, Teriyaki, Korean BBQ, and Gochujang rice bowls. The food was so amazing, my coworkers and I were fighting for the last bite! Absolutely recommend and we will continue to support this lovely man and hope everyone does the same!!

We ordered bowls for lunch. they were both loaded with toppings and sauce. They were both amazing!!! We ate until we were full and still had half left over to take home. They give you the goods here. Don't sleep on this place.

A+ spot! Tasty Bowl is my new go to lunch place. I cannot say enough about this place and about Raja! He's hilarious and had me try various sauces with different heat levels and ended up making me the best rice bowl I've had (curried jerk chicken). I got a buffalo chicken Philly and steak Philly to go and they were hands down the best! I wish I would have found out about this place earlier but either way it's one of my top spots in Steele Creek now.

Raja, the owner, is truly the best. He'll always come by and make sure you liked the food and if he doesn't he'll do whatever to make it better for you. My coworker and I go probably 3 times a week lol. I can tell you right now he has a tonnnn of regulars like me and he knows all their orders and what they like. The rest of the staff are just as amazing, always super friendly, polite, and offering recommendations. It's basically a hole in the wall kind of place, but if you know you know. If I could give this place more stars I would.

Me and my friends went to the place after a very long day or traveling and being out in the heat, we were all exhausted and the guy brightened up our day so fast. He gave us various options to help find what was right for our tastbuds and it helped a lot. I got a sweet chillie rice bowl with pico and chicken and it hit the spot perfectly. Amazing spice, amazing food, and best of all amazing staff. They deserve so much praise and love. They also catered to one of my friends a bit more. Mind you, the guy has an interesting sense of humor but that's what makes it all the more enjoyable! Tasty Bowl deserves the praise in my opinion

I order from Tasty Bowl at least once a week through our work delivery service, and the bowl that I order is ALWAYS spectacular. The owner is one of the nicest guys and goes above and beyond to ensure your meal is perfect everytime. If I could eat here every day for lunch I would!! Highly suggest their bowls!!

Why did we wait five years to visit this place?
I cannot recommend this place enough. The owners awesome, the environment is very laid-back and most importantly the food is very very filling and delicious! I ordered the buffalo chicken bowl with french fries.
I have a funny feeling will be back here every other week! ❤️

I've been wanting to come here for so long now, but with it only being open for lunch on weekdays, it was a bit of a challenge. We finally made it out recently for a team lunch.
Everything was awesome from the moment we walked in. The owner came out from the kitchen and asked if we had been there before. When we said we hadn't he asked us our preferences on spice level and flavors and then brought us each a different sample to try. The samples were delicious and he continued to provide recommendations based on the other questions we asked.
I got a large chicken rice bowl with a Thai/Curry sauce combo. He ended up giving me an extra large bowl instead and it was so much food! I got multiple meals out of it. The food was amazing and flavorful. I also got a side of fries which was not necessary, but also delicious.
You order your food at the counter and they bring it to your table for you. Everyone's food came out pretty fast.
I cannot recommend this place highly enough! I will definitely be back in the future. It's worth coming out of your way to try.

Owner has an interesting personality, my groups enjoyed it but some patrons might not. The food was very good for what it was very simple and very quick lunch spot. GET A SIDE OF FRIES THEY ARE SUPER CRISPY AND A VERY GOOD COMPLIMENT TO THE BOWL

This is a great restaurant with a unique concept which is create a bowl from their menu. What you don’t eat, you can take home as the bowl doubles as a take out container. There are many options to choose from to suit your taste. If you want to try something different then come to Tasty Bowl and you will not be disappointed.
