First time at Hickory Tavern & our server was Hannah. We got there just as they opened & I was really impressed by their service. Our waitress did a great job & she was really friendly. I ordered "The Grad" Burger, my wife got the pimento burger, & for our son, we got the chicken tenders. They have a great kids menu however I was a little disappointed that the mac & cheese side is just Kraft from the box. "The grad" burger was good & I love the house chips. I also got a side of the wing sauce to dip in & it had great flavor. The pimento cheese was on point & my wife said it was good as well. My only negative notes would be the Kraft mac & cheese, my burger could of used a bit more seasoning, & the chicken tenders had that flour batter taste, just not much to them. All & all a great place I will be back too!

This place has world class customer service and the food is delicious. It's a great place to watch sports games because they have so many tvs. They also have karaoke night here.

We had a retirement party for a friend June 23 and the service was phenomenal. They were patient and helpful in every way possible. The manager was very friendly and did everything he could to make us happy. The ladies waiting on us were also extremely nice and took care of us quickly and had a great way with people. You could tell they all took great pride in serving their customers. The drinks, appetizers and main course were all top notch. I would recommend them not just for a party, but dinner as well. Had a great time!! Met up with some friends. I had a tab at the bar. The bartender was great and service was quick for a drink refills even though the bar was about full. The server that my friends had seemed to be really nice, and my friends did not have any complaints about the food that they had ordered.

I visited last night with a co-worker & was quickly greeted & seated. A waitress comes out & assists get other tables then comes over & let's us know that someone else would be taking our table. She continued to seat others beside us (which was her section). We waited about 10 to 15 minutes when a very nice waiter by the name of Cory assisted us. He started her was aware as to why her was given the table but still gave Amazing service.
We did wait about 40 minutes to receive our full order & if they initial waitress had assisted us we wouldn't have had to wait that long. It lead me to assume that she's didn't provide us service due to our reached which Is Unacceptable!
We witnessed her service the other patrons who were of other races but not us.
Overall the atmosphere was great along with the food & Cory's service!

Large groups are well accommodated. The food is portioned just under enough, but its better than getting too much and having little leftovers or wasting food. Burgers are best but other options are provided. They have an easy to read menu. 4 stars because quality of food is not spectacular, but good.

It's been a while since the family and I have been to a Hickory Tavern and I must say, it was an excellent experience. We were very pleasantly greated by the hostess who opened the door for me (I'm on crutches so huge help). She gave us a table big enough we had an extra chair for me to put my leg on. Our server, Bobby, was incredible. She kept our drinks full, checked on us often and all the food was correct. She even brought us extra napkins right as my husband needed them. It was truly a great family meal..

We celebrated my son's 16 birthday on Saturday from 6PM to 9PM and it was GREAT! We had dinner on the patio/deck. When we got there the area was clean and the tables were set up very nicely. We ordered chicken quesadilla and pretzel appetizers, and for our entrees we ordered chicken tenders, wings, and grad burgers, all with french fries. The food was very good and the customer service was excellent! I gave it a four star because the area smelled of cigarette smoke (the restaurant allows smoking on the deck after 9PM). Once I spoke with the manager, he opened the drapes to air the area which helped a little. I considered having the event at the Harris Hickory Tavern but I am happy that we had it at the Mallard location! I definitely recommend and will return!

I have been to this Hickory Tavern location several times over the years to celebrate birthdays or just grab some wings. The wings are good when ordered extra crispy. I personally like their lemon pepper and buffalo wings. On a recent trip, I ordered their sweet potato fries. They were seasoned to perfection and drizzled with honey! Very delicious with a margherita.
The atmosphere is that of a typical restaurant/bar. It has plenty of outdoor seating with huge TVs. Great for summer nights. Plus, on Friday nights, they have Karaoke Night! This can be an awesome experience with the right crowd.
