Excellent authentic Jamaican cuisine, always delicious and fresh. But order ahead if you can because you'll still have a wait. Today I had Brown Stew Chicken, pumpkin rice, steam cabbage and mac and cheese and a large Oxtails w.pumpkin rice and double purple steamed cabbage 🥬. Absolutely delicious 😋🇯🇲‼️

It was delicious. I had the curry chicken with peas and rice and plantains. My friend had the oxtails with the same side and we had no complaints on the food. And the ginger pineapple juice was excellent. The wait was long but it was well worth it and it gave me and my friend to chit chat.

Food was absolutely phenomenal! The vibe was real relaxing inside. I visited this location around 2PM on a Saturday and it wasn't too crowded however I believe that's due to alot of pickup orders. One of the best Caribbean spots in Charlotte and I stand by that!

I came on my lunch break abt 3:30. I guess earlier lunch crowd wiped them out because they were out of so much. But I was able to get me some oxtails and curry chicken. It took a good min for it to be cooked and I was really the only sit down customer but I believe they had a lot of take out orders to make. Anyways, once the food came out it was well worth the wait. Meat was so tender and flavorful, cabbage was beautiful and cooked perfectly. Rice was awesome and those yams definitely were not from a can. Overall good experience and I would certainly go back. Only reason why I knocked down 1 star was because I couldn’t see what their grade was, I don’t know if I completely overlooked it but usually I would expect it right there in plain view behind a register.

Small business ALERT!!! As an immigrant myself, I can't help but love seeing how the son is helping his mom after school. He is definitely more helpful than McDonald's drive-through. Also, this was a side of ox tail and a side or rice. You need this in your life!!!

Food is excellent. Service needs some work, but the food makes up for it. Place your order in advance via phone, Seamless or Door Dash so you don't wait too long.

Very good food! I had the jerk chicken with the mac’n’cheese and plaintains. The jerk chicken was very flavorful with just the right amount of seasoning. The plaintains were good. I won’t comment on the mac’n’cheese because I am very picky; except to say that if you are serious about your mac’n’cheese, don’t bother. Prices are reasonable and the portions are generous.

Hubby ordered goat , mac and cheese and yams. I ordered brown stew chicken, greens and cabbage. The food was absolutely amazing but I wasn’t a fan of the mac and cheese . We wanted to eat inside but music was way too loud . I had to raise my voice to place my order . I will definitely recommend and visit when I come back to Charlotte

I absolutely cannot explain in accurate detail how delightful my tastebuds felt after eating this meal! If ever anyone that reads this post finds themselves in Charlotte NC go and enjoy a good meal with good people! Find out for yourselves!
