I went to Eight for the first time last week and had dinner with my boyfriend. I was truly impressed. The quality of the seafood they use for the sushi is out of this world. I have never enjoyed such fresh sushi in Charlotte. Recently moving from Miami, it is nice to find fresh seafood so far from the coast. My boyfriend was really satisfied eating the sushi at eight. He is a big guy and most of the time when we go out for sushi, he complains that he is still hungry and unsatisfied. It feels great to know we now have a sushi restaurant that will satisfy both of us and not leave us craving more.

Great Sushi, Great Food, Great Atmosphere. Eight sushi is a great place for a date night meal or to just hang out with some friends. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the food and sushi are great. There's also a great bar selection.

It's not the best for rolls, but there are a lot worse places. And beats the house catering from the venue next door
