Part of our crew members went out for lunch and offered to pick us up something. We declined. As soon as they returned and sat down to eat, the most amazing scents and smells began to permeate every single corner of the 2-story house that we're currently working on. After leaving work, we loaded up the info on the GPS and were there in no time. The owner(Ty) was heading out the door as we were making our way across the parking and told us that he had left the door open for us. In this tiny storefront, it was a sensory overload of amazing scents wafting out of the kitchen, that immediately let you know that you were undoubtably in the right spot. I don't say this very often, but this is one of those Hidden Gems, that is literally hiding in plain sight. Our orders consisted of the large Jerk chicken and the large Ox-tail meals. Both with mac-n-cheese, peas and rice and collard greens with smoked turkey. We also ordered 10 wings with the 2 flavor options. We had the Fried Garlic Parmesan wings and the Henny BBQ wings. My friend considers himself and Ox-tail aficionado and they absolutely raved about the quality, tenderness, seasoning and tastiness of Ty's Ox-tails as well as the the au jus that they mixed with the peas and rice. My Jerk chicken was phenomenal, with the chicken just full of flavor and tenderness and a perfect zip of spiciness and some heat. The Collard greens with smoked Turkey meat was next level. And the mac-n-cheese was a perfect blend of all things cheesiness. I had the distinct pleasure of meeting Ty and conversing with him about a multitude of topics. A fantastic conversationalist and most agreeable company. If you've missed out on this Hidden Gem, up until now, make it your business to check out this most amazing restaurant that's hidden in plain view. You won't be disappointed. Surprise! Just in a word that describes our faces as we begin to eat. As the store front is not a reflection of what you are about to eat. What a great experience! We were not so sure as we were walking up to the place. Our food was absolutely great! Some of the best plantains I have had and everyone at the table agreed. Ty is the owner and was very pleasant. It was just him running the place. However, he was quite efficient. I had the small jerk chicken with rice it was really good. It is pleasant when you are treated so well. Out of 6 people, there were lots of compliments and no complaints about the food. I absolutely love these hole in the walls were they know how to cook. Thank you Mr. Ty!

Amazing! Some of the best plantains and curry chicken I have ever had! The service was amazing; I dropped my debit card outside (😬) and the man who was in the restaurant had found it and gave it to me when I came back for it, and was incredibly nice about it. The food was also perfectly cooked and my order was finished very quickly.
