This location is always super busy, no matter what time of day it is. I ended up coming to the location around 1 pm. on a Friday for lunch, and as expected, the line was out to the street. It's located right on Soutb Blvd, and there is a lot of construction going on already, so that just adds to the madness of the traffic. I had faith, though, as I always do with chick fil a and the many polite drive-thru workers ushered the vehicles in drive thru in a quick and swiftly manner. They opened up another "lane," which basically just helps them out so that the line doesn't go to the street so much, and that does help traffic clear up a bit. As always, the employees are super nice and polite when you give them your order, and they make everything so easy. I think I was in the drive thru line no more than 10 minutes. It definitely goes quickly. As soon as I got to the drive-thru window, they had my order ready, and I was on my way back to work. The line may look scary, but I guarantee you will be in and out in no time.
We've been to this location a few times and it's always been a great experience. This last visit we witnessed the manager meeting with the health inspector and they got a rating of 99.5--way to go CFA team at this location! Very impressive! This number means a lot to us when we travel. If it's low, we will go! So it's great to see one of our more frequented locations have a high score in the standards where we feel matter most!
Always a pleasure. They get busy, which makes them get backed up a little bit. However, as soon as I am there, they ask for my name. They genuinely ask and keep following up.
The only downside is the parking/entry/exit situation. It gets so backed up. It makes sense for rush hour in a very busy area. Would be nice to have a back way to get out.

You already know how you feel about Chick-fil-A food, as well as their corporate extracurricular activities that might (rightfully) discourage people from eating here. I'm just here to talk about how this specific location is run.
The employees are polite and hustle. Even when the place is packed they seem organized and attentive. I think they must pay well because you rarely see fast food staff working this hard anymore (again, rightfully). Whatever they're paid, I think they're outperforming it.
Every time I've been, my food has come out hot, fresh, and tasty.
Yeah, so basically if you like Chick-fil-A and are comfortable eating there sometimes, this is a Chick-fil-A you can go to and expect to have a good chick-fil-experience.
It does tend to be very crowded at mealtimes due to the location. They were absolutely swamped at around 12:30 today (Tuesday), so badly that I had to wait in line just to get into the parking lot. But the staff made it work and I didn't have to wait long once I got inside.
Came in 15 til closing. Service was fabulous and enjoyed my Spicy Chicken Deluxe meal. I am not one for peppermint, but their Peppermint Milkshake was better than expected.
Chick-fil-A has a great price for quality chicken sandwich which is always fresh and hot and delicious I love this place they have a very fair price in today's fast food market
Ordered through the app and pickup through the drive-thru. Line was fast, food was delicious.
Ordered 8 ct. grilled nuggies and a side salad with avocado lime ranch dressing. Great low sugar, high protein option that doesn't sacrifice taste!
OMG! So thankful traveled here for work and in the area near the coliseum there are lots of eateries but no fast food, well chic fila a location was perfect. Not knowing the are can be kind of frustrating so look next time in Charlotte do what we did, tap Google maps, restaurants and chic fil a in the search...it was great watching the staff get things done.. seniors, physically challenged, language differences, and the orchestra of them was absolutely wonderful. Food was fresh, and on time and in order as the customers waited patiently. Thank you for making my day with that final blow of a beautiful hostess smile for my drink refill! Chick Fil A Southend is by far the best👌. Management is always attentive to your needs. Jordan and Antonio are so amazing and work so well with their team especially the team at night who are usually young Teens running the show. Keep up the good work Southend!!!!!
We absolutely love this environment for the kids...it's clean, friendly, and fun for all ages. This is a particularly nice Chick-fil-A, in that it has a large indoor play area, has an extremely fast line that uses a tablet to take your order if the line is too long, just as a way to speed up the process.
I personally love the sanitary wipes and disposable kids placemats that we use every time we go. I am big on cooking my own meals for the family so they are healthy, but with so many healthy options for the kids and us, and the ability to take three kids here and just let them go in the play area and enjoy themselves for 2+ hours, it's pretty hard to not make this an every weekend event!
This location also allows you to turn in your book in the kids meal for an ice cream if the kids prefer it (which though we love books, it's pretty hard to beat this delicious ice cream).
