I ordered Chicken Dum Biryani and chole Batura. Hyderabadi’s can go here if they want to get good dum biryani. The service was fast and the servers are very friendly.

I have always loved and cherished Dakshin. I love their butter chicken , naan , and 65. I love the spice level. Something that makes Dakshin unique is that they text you when your order is ready. I appreciate them and their strong values. I have been a strong fan since 2019. I remember how nice the manager was when I brought my new born in there years ago. I love ordering take out from them. Please keep doing what you are doing. I value you.

Not typically a fan of Indian Food but I decided to give it a try. I was blown away on how quickly the food was out and the dishes had so much flavor and the portions were huge. Def enough to take home and enjoy the next day. Service was top notch. Thank you!

I came to celebrate my friend birthday. I loved the ambience and service. Their foods are highly aromatic and very tasty. It’s a must place to visit if you love Indian food. Cocktails are the best don’t forget to try jaljira mojito and seven island

This is easily the best Indian restaurant in charlotte. They've got a unique menu with items not seen at many other restaurants. Last time I went we got the Bisi Bele Bhath or Khichidi and it was phenomenal. I'm not sure I've seen this anywhere else. It is a nice change of pace to eat at more of a south Indian restaurant.

This gem is tucked away in a shopping plaza and has little street view signage. We went for lunch and it was not very busy but the food was great. I went with coworkers one who KNOWS his Indian cuisine. The Biryani chicken was great, flavorful but not as spicy as I expected. Next time I'll have to go extra hot. I sampled my colleagues' tika masala and found my next choice when I come again. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

Went here with my wife for our 10 year wedding anniversary last night. We had a really nice evening. Food was great and the curries we had were excellent. Service was fairly slow, but they were very busy with take out orders. Our food came out extremely hot and fresh though, so no real complaints. We started with the samosas. I forgot to take a picture, but the order only came with two. That was fine for us, but be aware of with a group. Next we ordered our mains. I had medium spice Chicken Tikka Masala. It had a pleasant spiciness and the flavor was beautiful. My wife ordered the Palak Paneer which was the best thing we had all night. So smooth, so creamy, so delicious. A must try when you visit. We also shared some garlic naan and a Lamb Biryani. The lamb biryani was also very good and had a nice complexity of flavors. We wanted to try their Lassi's but they told us they were out of the ingredients to make it. Quite disappointing, but I will try again next time. This was our first experience with Indian cuisine in Charlotte, and it did not disappoint. I would say come by and give it a shot, if only to try the Palak Paneer. Truly excellent, and one of the best I have had around the world.

The time when most of the Indian restaurant have closed their buffet this one is the exception From Charlotte it’s little far but worth every single penny Have huge varieties in both veg and non veg in their buffet They started serving paan as well at 3 USD each Price is bit on higher side but overall I am satisfied with the experience and their service

I visited this restaurant a few weeks ago with a friend. I was pleasantly surprised how great the customer service was. Ambiance was nice as well but the food was just amazing! Dakshin is a hidden gem of south Charlotte.
