Very cute plate with a limited but delicious sounding menu: I went on a Saturday and they offer brunch. I ended up getting the diner burger and it was delicious. Fresh beef seasoned well and I added bacon, lettuce and tomato. Got the mimosa flight and all were very tasty. Service was pretty good and fast too, if definitely go back.

Beer & small plates were delicious. While their menu might seem small, it is well thought out & creative. I highly recommend the charcuterie & the brussel sprouts! Bartenders were excellent! My only complaint is the beers changes some, so if you find a fav it may not be there next time. (Talking from experience. Ha!) The beer flight is a great way to try 4 different beers though. Great service & atmosphere.

When the bartender tells you to get the French Dip, you do. It was so good. She made one of the best espresso martinis I’ve had in a while. A friendly little spot with good drinks and good food. Definitely will come back to try some other items, including some Mac and cheese!

This was our 2nd visit. We were promptly greated and seated. The girl that seated us was wearing a hoodie, I think Villanova (not sure a hoodie should be worn by wait staff). She quickly brought us water and took my order for Hopslam... yeah! She came back, took our order, and then we got our meal. The issues we had were 1st, when we arrived we were seated in an empty restaurant right beside 4 ladies obviously having a good time, laughing and chatting. We asked to at least move down a bit and we did. Next, while we wouldn't have noticed, the next people were seated again, right beside us...in an empty restaurant. They quickly asked to be moved and they were. (Something to look into, why keep stacking people on top of each other). In another minute or two yet another couple were seated right beside us, they were greeted by a waiter who promptly introduced himself, spoke about the appetizer, and the special drinks. Our waitress didn't mention any of this. A note for the owner If our waitress had mentioned fried green tomatoes we would have ordered them, but she didn't she gave her menus and walked off. She never came back during the meal to check about anything, and she finally offered water refills after my wife had drank her and my water. As far as the food, the diner burger and fries are a hit, done perfectly. I got the hot chicken sandwich and Mac and cheese, the chicken sandwich was good but WAY too salty. Lastly, when we departed our waitress and other younger girls were at the hostess desk chatting. This may be something that the owner wants to look into. Do you need 3 people hanging out around the hostess desk while customers aren't getting refills on water or drinks. I'd probably ordered another Hopslam if asked before I finished my dinner, that and the lack of mentioning the appetizers probably cost the owner in just this one visit $20.

Nice drink menu. Love that they have decent draft beers, aperol spritz, port, cava, etc. Nice variety at fair prices. Will come back for the food..love the outdoor seating with Edison lights and open window to within the building.

Had a great experience here! First time we came, the power went out because of a crazy pop up storm. Owner came out and was so nice. Pretzels are awesome, definitely recommend. And then we came back and I’m so glad. The burgers are amazing. I had the brunch burger and the hubs the Diner burger. Yum!

I went to my first beer dinner at Queen City Craft and Gourmet on May 16th. It was a 5 course meal where they pair the food with the beer. The beer was from Mother Earth Brewing in Kinston, NC. I have never heard of this brewery, but I was very impressed and loved their beers. The Endless River Kolsch was my favorite. The chef at Queen City did a great job with the food. The owner of Queen City, Charles, sat with us for a while. He is very nice and passionate about food and drinks. His wife Cat made the dessert. This was a very cool event, and I look forward to coming back to Queen City again soon.

Service and beer selection was good, but I was kinda expecting more from the food. The burger was mediocre minus, even the cheese was not melted. We also had the meat board which was not bad. Decor needs some love.

My son and I have been here 4 times in the last two weeks. The food is great and it's a hidden gem! It's our go to place for my son and i to connect one on one and spend some time together while grabbing a bite to eat. Never too crowded. Beer selection is really good and the menu is great for any time of the day. You have to try their brunch! It's awesome!
