I love this place! Delicious breads and other baked goods. It always smells so amazing when you walk in. Almost like a memory from childhood of someone baking bread. My favorite bread is the Dakota. We also have had the Whole Grain Goodness and Honey Whole Wheat. I always sample the cinnamon chip and it is amazing! The staff is always so friendly and willing to help. They really go out of their way to answer any questions or help you find something you're looking for. Definitely the place to buy bread!
Just went to the Rae Rd location. Outstanding service. It was our 1st time and the lady who attended us went above and beyond. Will go back. The Cinnamon Chip is my favorite.
Love this place! Fresh, delicious, baked breads, sweets, and sandwiches. I live 35 minutes outside of Charlotte, so wherever I'm in the area I always stop by Great Harvest for a few tasty treats!
The bread was freshly made. I really enjoy the varies bread options. I don’t know if I came in on a off day but there didn’t seem to me a lot of inventory of bread as well as soup mix options as I have seen in the past.
Fresh baked goods. Situated next to Trader Joe’s on Rea Road. Crazy parking situation, but worth it for the bread, treats and specialty sandwiches. Definitely try their cinnamon chip bread -YUM!
Tammy was so helpful and friendly! I am so thankful she took the time to actually talk to me instead of dismissing me like other bakeries/cafes. She really helped me understand which breads work best for what. Highly recommend trying out their bread!!!
I went in on a whim looking for a good quality bread to use to make grilled cheese to pair with homemade tomato soup. I was greeted right when I walked in and explained what I was looking for. They recommended the rosemary bread. This turned out perfect! Excellent quality bread and great flavor!
If you care about high quality baked goods that are healthy, you can't go wrong to become a customer of the outlets for this Montana wheat based business. Their products, especially the great combinations of the best wheat in the US with cinnamon are exceptional. This woman owned and operated business with 5 locations in Charlotte trying to get established during the pandemic, is remarkable. I've been to many Great Harvest Bread locations in Montana, Washington, and California and have never seen greater dedication to what healthy and delicious bakery products are all about.
This place makes 'THE' best bread I've ever tasted. They use just plain, traditional ingredients with no preserves or other crap you typically find in factory produced breads --they even grind their own whole wheat!
I've had several of their breads, cookies, and brownies, all of which were amazing. If you're unsure about something, they have a full range of their products you can sample. Here are some I'd highly recommend:
*Whole Grain Goodness
*Honey Whole Wheat
*White
*Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookie
*Cosmic Brownies
Since the first time I shopped here, I haven't purchased baked products anywhere else.
I'm a bread snob. Great Harvest is my favorite not made at home bread. I wish there was a closer location, but I make the drive because the bread is worth it. And the family who runs this location is just friendly, informative and a joy to hang out with while waiting on a slice or a sandwich.
Delicious fresh non-gmo bread and tasty treats like cookies and muffins! Free samples and "awesome" works there...sweet people willing to give a taste of each fresh load or treat. You can try em all! Whole grain perfection and gluten free for those less tolerant.
I love this place! They have the best bread, specialty bread, baked goods, etc. My favorite is the Dakota bread. What makes this store even better is that every staff member is always so nice and helpful. Oh and the smell of the place is amazing! Don't want to leave after I walk in!
What's not to love about fresh baked bread and sweet treats? Some of my favorites are cinnamon chip, cheddar garlic, rosemary garlic, Virginia rolls, Smores bars, Blondie bars, and salted caramel cookies. I frequent the Piper Glen location most often.
