This is a great place with regular Asian-American cuisine. It fills up fast and does a great take out business. In the nice weather, a few tables outside are available. Know that they charge extra for anything (extra sauce...additional vegetable...extra; and drinks are a whopping $2.50.) The Pad Thai is delicious, but has a red color and tastes different than anywhere else I have had it. Be very clear on the amount of heat you want on your dish when ordering! ENJOY!

Good, solid Chinese food experience. I loved the sauce on the sesame tofu, rich and unique. My buddha roll was also delicious. Service could have been better but they were friendly and apologetic. I would eat here again.

Visited here for the first time two nights ago, and if I come back to Charlotte will definitely be back! The food was delicious, and the service was fantastic. We were waited on very quickly, and we had our drinks within two minutes after ordering. Highly recommend, and would definitely go back as a regular if I lived in town.

Pretty good lunch option for uptown. Large portions, flavors are good (ordered extra spicy General Tso's chicken and they just gave me a side of crushed red pepper to add), and service is quick. Rice doesn't always seem fresh and soups are pretty salty, but overall, not a bad spot for Chinese if you're craving it and stuck in uptown.

This is my favorite sushi spot. I buy the Groupon again and again! I always sit at the sushi bar, and the male server is really fast (can't remember his name). The best value you can get for a seaweed salad in Charlotte, that's for sure. I can't speak to any of their Hibachi dishes, because I always get sushi. But the sushi chef is extremely nice and talented. The Bonsai roll is really good for specialty, but all of the nigiri and simple rolls (tuna, for instance) have been fresh and fairly priced.
Also, the hot sake flows here. This is definitely not a pretentious sushi spot. But that's what makes it so great! My only complaint is that I've been there twice on Sundays just to remember that they're not open.

This has been one of my favorite family spots for the last 10 years. The food, service and ambiance has always been great. Week day Lunch time is always crowded due to location and return customers. However, dinner time there's never a wait.

Best Chinese in all of Charlotte. The price is well worth it. I have been here over 10 times and each time I wanted to write this review. The food quality is top notch, always fresh and crisp, ALWAYS!! And the sushi is just mouth-watering. Just try it once, you won't regret it. Also they often have promotions on Groupon, that alone is worth trying this place. Cheers!

A wide variety of Chinese food menu items. The sushi here is good and they have a full bar here as well. The lettuce cups and low mein dishes are good. Very busy here during weekday lunch hours. Don't expect anything to be very spicy.

Great Groupon experience! Buddha roll, Godzilla and spicy lovers sushi was a hit! Veggie pad Thai was also great! Our server Laura was very pleasant and knowledge. Very patient with us for our first time as well.

I was in town for a meeting and ordered a Godzilla and a Dragon roll. They were both fantastic and the portions exceeded my expectations. Originally I was glad my hotel room had a small refrigerator, but I ended up not needing that because I wanted to eat every piece tonight! Especially loved the lightly battered tempura style of the Godzilla and the fact that it was warm, but still had that fresh sushi style. Service was great, it was fun watching the chef prepare my food and atmosphere was nice. They also graciously added a side of thinly sliced jalapenos peppers. On a previous visit to Charlotte I was directed to a popular downtown place that totally disappointed me in taste, portions and atmosphere. I thought I was just getting too far from Japan to get a good Asian experience, but tonight proved that you just have to go to the right place - FUJO BISTRO!

We went on a Saturday night. It wasn't busy. It's sort of dark but in a romantic way. Our server was excellent, very nice very attentive. We got the garlic eggplant dish which was delicious. We also tried the must try godzilla roll and the bonzai. They were both great but I preferred the bonzai just because the godzilla has some fried elements to it. The bonzai roll had large pieces of fresh tuna on it which was absolutely delicious. We went with a Groupon. I would definitely recommend and return.

Yum! Maybe not the easiest to find tucked inside a Wells Fargo building. Well worth it once you get in. Prices are pretty good.
What you get for the money: great sushi and great Japanese. They do not cook at the table. This is better quality. The veggies were cooked perfect.
On this visit, I had the garlic beef. Yum and be sure to grab a mint if you're on your way back to the office. Ask for your sauces like hot sauce or duck sauce. It is not on the table, but they have.
