This was my first time here. My waitress was great. She pointed out some of her favorites for me to consider since I had never been. I ordered the smoked bacon deviled eggs and the bbq chicken pizza. The eggs were good. I prefer them a little sweeter and with less filling. They had a slight vinegar flavor. The greens and dressing served with them was good also. The bbq chicken pizza was very good. I love pizzas baked in wood burning ovens. It was thin crust, and the toppings paired well together. I recommend Harper's and plan to return.
We like Harper's a lot. It's a great place to eat. The wood fired pizzas are amazing, the thin crispy crust is off the charts. The truffle fries are awesome, too. We go here sometimes just for those. The devilled eggs need some work, I have noticed some resturaunts make them the day before, and the filling gets hard in the fridge over night. That's my recommendation to make them fresh daily. Highly recommended, nonetheless!
We were actually going to leave bc it didnt look like the food was going to be good. Im glad we stayed! The food was amazing.The burger was perfect! Being from SC I want my deviled eggs to have some sugar! But the bacon deviled were excellent. The pizza was okay and our mules were good.

Made a reservation Thursday and was seated immediately on Friday night vs a 20+ min wait for dining room. Ordered wedge salad (yum) and pizza, but server brought a different pizza. I ate it anyway. The combo price for the salad and pizza is pretty good...but thinking about it now and reflecting on what my bill total was, my server didn't give me the combo price. I didn't catch it when paying though...so, two mistakes by my server. But she was otherwise quite nice and generally attentive.
Had not eaten here in at least a decade. Was surprised it was not more crowded than it was on a Thursday lunch in the busy South Park area. Met an old work colleague and we are here. Both had the chicken tenders (still their best seller according to the server.). They were good. The fries were fantastic. Clean, comfortable, nice outdoor area.
I've gone here a few times for business meetings with clients. The food is very consistent and it's nice when your Server says she will check with the Chef on a special request. Yes, Harper's has a Chef and that is a nice change from a cook, which Outback and lesser restaurants have.
I had the Turkey Chili and it was really good. My clients had the Cobb Salad and those salads looked Awesome. I've had thier pepperoni pizza before and it was outstanding. Great place to go and you will not be disappointed.
Stopped in for lunch. While the menu was limited, the burger and fries were done to protection and tasty. The restaurant looks dated, though, and I was told it actually looks the exact same as it did when it open in 1992. I'll have to try dinner next!
This was our first time visiting Harpers. The service and food was excellent. We both had the Baby Shortribs which were mouth watering delicious!
Harper’s has amazing Danish Baby Back Ribs!!! Fantastic taste and the bbq sauce is among the best I’ve ever had. Service was great and their food is freshly made. One of the best restaurants in Charlotte!
