I always enjoy my visit to my Oh My Soul. They have fabulous gluten free crackers and vegan cheese. Today I tried the Macho Nacho and it was pretty good. I got the pea based vegan sausage and it was great! This was a great option for those that are gluten and dairy free. The meal was abundantly portioned and very tasty. For solo diners, I recommend that you get the chips on the side because there will be plenty leftover and you may not want soggy chips. My only concern about the meal is that I was unaware of a 15% service charge added on to the bill in addition to my tip. So the nachos were $40. They were good, but not $40 good.

Highly recommend if you’re looking for a good vegan spot. I got the Buddha bowl and it was amazing. The food is definitely fresh you can tell by the flavor. I was in on a Tuesday evening and either they are a bit short staffed or might have been down a person that day because I waited in line for longer than I would have expected. I understand that things happen it’s just worth noting. What made up for the wait was how friendly the employees are! The food came out quicker than expected, and the serving size was huge, I had enough to take home. Great experience and atmosphere, I’d definitely go again!

The food was delicious. The have a South African owner and some of the recipes are based on traditional dishes. The flavors are amazing and they didn’t have a lot of soy based meats. Which was a gem to find as most vegan places have mostly soy substitutes. They also have coffee and a full bar in the back. The day we went there was live music playing. Just a really good place to be. We will be back!

10/10 Recommend! The two girls working the counter were knowledgeable of the menu and happy to answer all questions. As this was our first time here, we asked for recommendations and they offered a few of their favorites and suggested a few others. We decided to order the Hippie Chick "burger" and the Vicken maple "bacon" ranch veggie wrap and a side order of jalapeño hush puppies. They did not disappoint! All our food was delivered within 10 minutes and it was fantastic! As a vegan, I really appreciate places likes this, as I have no vegan places close to home. It's outdoor seating only but they have a lovely seating area out back that is covered and there are several industrial outdoor cooling units throughout. There is plenty of seating available and there is a full service bar for drinks as well. There was also a small stage in the seating area, so I would assume they may have live music on occasion. I also appreciated the self service water station and self serve take out containers if needed. The only downside is parking. It's on street parking only and spaces were limited even during a slower weeknight. I'd walk 5 miles though to enjoy their food again!

There were so many things to like conceptually about this restaurant. The menu had lots of great selections on it, the names of the dishes were inviting, and it definitely built up an anticipatory visual overall. The staff were very friendly and helpful with assisting with informative selections. Here are the facts, be prepared to pay, I completely understand vegan food can be pricey, and for a family of four on vacation, it definitely was. Be prepared to eat outdoors under a tent... On a cooler day, or perhaps in the evening, it wouldn't have been so bad. However, we also had some bugs to contend with during our dining experience. The pictures provided will show that they get all the stars for the presentation, there are some selected dishes that we really liked. Unfortunately, I wished I had picked another option due to a lack of seasoning and savory flavor in the tofu, which was the vicken waffle sandwich. My smoothie was refreshing and amazing. The toona melt was delicious and definitely falls in the category of good comfort food. I think I would go again when we come for another visit, perhaps in the fall.

Ive eaten here a few times and every time I go it’s a great. The staff is very helpful when it comes to choosing the food especially because I don’t usually eat vegan. I spoke with Theresa and she helped me figure out what I would most likely enjoy based on what I usually like. When I’ve gone I got the zingalings, fish and chips and spirit rolls. Pictures included😁

A must try for everyone. We ordered the Makhula burger with onion rings and the Greek Goddess wrap with pumpkin fritters. The food was exceptional. If everyone could cook food like this there would be more vegans. Overall atmosphere makes you just want to hang out. Look forward to eating here every time we come to Charlotte.

I had the most wonderful, delicious experience. My friend practically had to drag me in… didn’t think I’d enjoy a vegan meal. Turned out to be one of my favorites on vacation while in NC from Denver. Taylor, Hanna and Theresa were all super friendly, helpful and on point! Thank you girls, so wish this place existed in Colorado.

Perhaps Charlotte's most well-known vegan restaurant, and for good reason. Located in the hip NoDa neighborhood, this is an excellent stop no matter what you could possibly be craving. The menu is extensive as far as appetizers, entrees, drinks, and desserts go. I swear it took me almost 10 minutes to decide what I wanted to order because there options here are insane. All of the dining is outdoors under a tent, with live music potentially playing as well. The atmosphere is so chill and open that you can tell anyone would feel welcome here. One thing in particular I want to shout-out here is how this establishment goes big on the animal liberation/rights side of veganism. Their walls are filled with both art of animals from a local artist(s) as well as facts pertaining to veganism. Really just a phenomenal place, all around.

It was my first visit. Everything was wonderful. I had the "crabby cakes." My friends had the fish and chips and the burger that is under the Wakawaka (I don't recall the name.) She had the Buddha bowl the day before and said it was really good.
