Fantastic dinner with an outstanding chef! We were a group of 8 - mostly dressed for Halloween. Now , one big issue was the male African American bartender- the absolute worst bartender I have ever experienced. No personality - to the point of him being incredibly rude. Does not belong in the job. Horrible. Other than that it was a great experience! .

Ordered the hibachi, was good, as others said, they put on quite a show for you. The steak and salmon were alright and it was definitely filling with all the rice, noodles and veggies they give you. That could have improved the miso soup, it was very salty.

Great service. Randomly found this place while at my family's reunion. Osman (the head chef) and Sergio (our server) WERE AWESOME! Funny and Very attentive. The food was delicious. We'd definitely come back if we were in Charlotte again. A must try.

In search of a hibachi restaurant to accommodate a birthday dinner, we stumbled upon the jewel of uptown CLT. The staff was accommodating and friendly. The cuisine was delicious and the cocktails were mixed to perfection. Centrally located and also validated parking. We will definitely return again in the near future

Great food but super busy. Park at 2 Wells Fargo across street for free parking! We got daily special impossible roll, rock n roll roll, shrimp tempura and Bento B box. Rock n Roll roll was 10/10! Tempura needed salt, didn’t detect any. Miso with bento box was really light in flavor. Went for teppanyaki but it was a 90 minute wait on Saturday night at 6:20pm. We opted for a table. Front desk overwhelmed with 3 workers, carry out orders, wait listing and seating. Luckily a few regular tables were open. There are like 8 teppanyaki griddles that seat about 100 and takes up about 40% of the floor. Would recommend here again. Lack of final star due to front desk chaos and lack of organization.

If you're looking for an hibachi grill that cooks at the table in uptown Charlotte, then this is one to check out. You'd be surprise at how many restaurants in Charlotte use hibachi in the name, but don't cook at the table, so this was certainly a treat to find. The ambiance is nice and can be relaxed casual or dress up depending on your mode. The hibachi price is $25 - $35 per person depending on what/how many meats you order, with an automatic 20% gratuity. It includes soup and salad for the appetizer and rice, noodles, veggies, and 2 shrimp with the meal. They are liberal if you want substitutes (i.e. swapping salad for a second soup). The service is hit or miss. The wait time depends on if they have a grill table open and how quick it takes to fill with other guest (seats 8). Our server was nice, being very attentive to refilling our drinks. Our chef was okay, doing a few tricks, but the table behind us seemed to have a more entertaining chef that did more tricks shots with guest. If you have a birthday guest, they will do a birthday cake and song, albeit I don't know if it's complimentary or an additional charge. The food is 4 out 5 stars. Tasty with good flavors, but nothing special. Also, since the chef cook things in layers, by the time I got my meats my rice and noodles were cold. Overall, 4 stars because it's a hibachi grill to check out in uptown, but not a must see.

This place is hands down my favorite place to eat in Asheville. The food is just unbelievable! Service is amazing and the food comes out so quick. Highly recommend stopping here for food. Any dumpling will be amazing, especially the szechuan.
