Top Notch Hibachi service. I went for the $24.99 deal. Decent price for what all came with it. The cook was very entertaining and did a wonderful job keeping the whole table intrigued. They would have been five stars easy but their Saké was a bit watery, still was good but wasn't as strong as most. I got the 🍗, 🥗, 🍲, and 🍚. Great timing on the order of food cook also. Would highly recommend coming in for a great experience. Oh yea there was an awesome Samurai suit in the front that set the vibe quite nicely.

Great appetizers, especially the fried calamari served here. Delicious and flavorful sushi. Our Hibachi chef unfortunately lacked showmanship. For me, Hibachi is all bout the fun, entertaining way to interact and prepare a unique experience w/ a great meal. I've come accustomed to some amazing showmanship when it comes to food entertainment. So our particular Hibachi chef was definitely not one to remember or care to ever be served by again. It's upsetting when you find out after such a poor and negative experience that a 18% gratuity fee is already assessed before you even experience anything. The hibachi chef behind ours with the other group of customers really made us want to move over to the other side and be a part of the entertainment. I would had glady payed more than the 18% if I had that chef inatead. With that said, I ordered the hibachi style seafood delight. The scallops were undercooked, the dish was jus too salty, and the salmon was overpowered by the hibachi sauce. Personally, I dn't care for the hibachi sauce, and next time, I'll definitely ask for the cook to swap it out for the terriyaki instead.

First time being here, the experience was amazing!!. I went with my family members for my birthday. Carlos was Extremely the best chef in all the hibachi restaurant 🙌🏾. His food was amazing, I had the hibachi dinner with scallops and salmon. He was a chef and great performer, he had the right energy and everything and he's just a teen. I was very pleased with the service and food, we were short of no tricks, from the beginning to the end with the onion volcano and fire sticks. At the end they sang happy birthday for me. So that was not expected and made me feel special, thank you @Kabuto Japanese Steakhouse.

The food was good. The cook was entertaining. Good place.

This place was absolutely fantastic. Our first experience with hibachi and it was out of this world. Our cook was great, very involved and willing to answer questions. My kids (9, 7, 3) had a blast and my hubby (30th birthday) enjoyed the drinks! We will definitely be back next time we're in the area.

The food was good, but I have had better. They can use a little more season overall and wish their noodles were different.

The food was wonderful. There was so much of it ate the rest the next day! Our chef was so entertaining and heightened the experience even more. I must go back soon! I loved the shrimp! Next time, I want to try the lobster and the teriyaki chicken and the sushi!

Visiting Charlotte this Kabuto is conveniently located near the Sonesta Excutive Park. I wanted a fast healthy lunch to eat at my hotel so I desired to try them. The guy at the bar that took my order was so nice and kind very attentive. They had a vegiterian lunch option which I was excited about. The service was fast and while waiting he offered me a free drink! When the order was bagged very well. He walked around the bar to hand it to me classy rather than give it over the bar. This place looks like a great place to bring a date but also great for a fast work day lunch! The food quality is steller. Next time I am in Charlotte I will be back.

The server was nice and very attentive! I loved the fact that I could see my food cooked on the hibachi grill in front of me, that was a wonderful experience. I enjoyed my made to order meal with a few of my friends and fellow #realtors. The food service rating was an A @ a 95.5 score which ALWAYS work for my #germaphobe self!! I would DEFINITELY eat here again. The price was right, the Asian atmosphere enchanting and the food delicious!!

The food was ah-mazing. The atmosphere was very cold considering we went on the coldest day of the year 12/23/22 our mothers 70th birthday 🥳. They did advise us that the heat could not keep up with the outside weather. Our server was not as friendly. I would recommend this place, just go when weather is right.

The server had the best attitude. Everyone enjoyed themselves. Drinks we're watered down by the time the food was done. But as soon as the server got finished. The sester came over to ask if we wanted to-go boxes. As if they were ready for us to leave..I really didn't like feeling like I was being rushed. Other than that service was great

The food was great, and the service was wonderful. First time here as I moved into the apartment right across. The experience was good. The only downside is that the tables were smaller and felt way more cramped than any other Japanese steak house I've been to.

The waitress and the cook are all very nice. The food are great (not like some very salt with a lot of soy sauce). 😋 The amount of the food is HUGE! The price is very fair (especially during Monday thru Thursday they have specials).

The sushi was beautiful and equally tasteful. I sat at the bar and the manager and sushi cook were friendly and attentive. I will definitely be back.

On April 4th, I went with three friends to Kabuto, located at 446 Tyvola Road, Charlotte NC. Two of my friends were celebrating birthdays, so this was a special occasion. We set at a grill with one other patron. Three of our party ordered the Hibachi Chicken, and one ordered the Jalapeno Chicken. By way of context, the other patron had a shrimp dish. Our chef did a great job with his presentation and, given my allergy to shellfish, he was careful to ensure that our food was cooked separately from the other patron’s shrimp. I greatly appreciated that. The chef at the grill was preparing the various food items for our plates, and of course, that takes some time; however, the member of our party who ordered the Jalapeno Chicken was still waiting for her food, which certainly should have been delivered by that stage. Our waiter, Trevor, advised us that her food should be served in five minutes. At the same time, we noticed that another table (seated after us) had received their sushi, and the gentleman at our table had requested and received his to-go box. At this point, at least 20 minutes had passed. Trevor returned to the table, apologized for the inordinate delay, and said the cost of the Jalapeno Chicken would be removed from our bill. While we appreciated the gesture, the delay was unacceptable and, frankly, baffling. Trevor explained that the back kitchen was overwhelmed with orders. In that case, why did others seated after us receive their food ahead of our order? Trevor said he had “done all he could do”, adding that there was “no need to get an attitude”. At this point, I requested to speak with the manager. A few minutes later, Christia came to our table. I apprised her of the situation and our disappointment in the excessive delay in receiving food for one of the members of our group who was celebrating her birthday. I also informed her of Trevor’s confrontational response. Christia apologized, saying that “Trevor also gives attitude to other staff members.” In my opinion, that last statement demonstrated a lack of professionalism. She further went on to say that the chef was struggling to keep up with orders and that “he gets frazzled when busy.” Again, not an appropriate comment to make to guests. At that point, the Jalapeno Chicken finally arrived-two skewers bearing four pieces of chicken each set upon a measly handful of lettuce. I asked Christia if she felt this lack of service and small portion of food warranted a discount for the entire party. Christia’s response: “ I have to be honest and say no” The most discount she could give in any circumstance would be 10% bud did not feel that it would be appropriate in this situation. Upon receipt of the checks by Trevor, Christia had discounted each by 10% and not charged for the Jalapeno Chicken. In summary, this was a highly disappointing experience, and the situation was poorly handled by both Trevor and Christia. They were dismissive or our concerns and we were not made to feel like valuable guests. I hope you will understand that the restaurant has lost four customers as a result.

This may not LOOK like a five star place... but the food is quality and the staff is really awesome. We loved it!

Chefs put on a really good show food was good except the lobster was very salty thinking to preserve it better. Ordered a second blue moon and lazy kid Christian bring it to me without the orange and says there out, when I told him to take it back cause it ain't the same for taste he magicly appears with one. Other than those few hickups over all delicious.

Best chefs! They had fire in their hats, fire on their finger-tips and they twirled fire shakers, and the food was excellent.

Really enjoyed having my birthday dinner here. A first for some of my invited guests who really enjoyed everything! Great show by our chef & amazing food for the price! After my first visit I knew I wanted to have my birthday dinner here! I will definitely be back!

Food was ok and large portions were served, but I've had better. Construction was going on at 6pm! My real concern is that health department rated them at 90.0. I like 95 and greater.
