This review is just for the gelato btw. I haven't tried the good but since I will be back for the gelato anyway I'll try it then!
They have a ton of different flavours! I tried the sea salt caramel which was oh so good !!! The salted caramel hazelnut wasn't as mind blowing as I hoped it would be! I had a large cup with tiramisu and straciatella. Both were delicious and it was less than 7 bucks for a whole lot of icecream. The server said they do it by weight. I think we could have gotten 3 flavours in the large!
They do rotate flavours so all might not be available every time. The fruity flavours on the left are sorbet btw

The menu has everything from burgers to dolmas! The food is really good, they have 6 TVs in this little place, wine and beer and Gelato!!!!!

Last night, I and 7 friends and family members went there for dinner before a movie nearby, and we all thought it was GREAT ! The new decor was fresh and appealing - - no more dark and uninviting look, thanks to the new management. I ordered the Lamb Pizza, and it was the best pizza I ever ate ! Their new system of self- ordering before ya' sit down, then having full table service, really seemed to speed up things, and all 8 of our various orders were served to our table within 10 minutes our so ! That really helped us to get to the movie on time ! In fact, we enjoyed our dinner so much, we even went back after the show for some of their incredible home-made Ice Cream, Gelato, and delicious huge Cookies. We'll definitely be back again next week for movie night !

Had Blueberry Cheesecake Ice Cream. It was excellent! Sorry no pics. They make their ice cream on-site. I will definitely go again and try their other flavors!

I ordered from DoorDash and this was the best food I’ve ordered delivery from. I ordered the lasagna and shrimp scampi to eat on all day. Both were very good. The lasagna was seasoned to perfection, very tasty. I had to add a little seasoning to the shrimp scampi, but still very good. The only downfalls were the salad was in the same box as the lasagna, so it was hot and the cheese on the salad was melted... and the lasagna portion was very small for the price. I will definitely order again.

Got an Amazon local promotion for this place and had to drive 45 minutes to get there. Was hoping for a lot because I drove so far, and not only did they meet my expectations but they exceeded them. The service was so fantastic, I felt like I was getting special treatment. I ordered the lamb fajitas, and I can honestly say that's the best lamb I have ever tasted. They even brought samples of the Gelato to our table when we were done. You can't tell when you first walk in that they have an outdoor deck that you can eat on, and it's on a lake, but they do. It was a really nice experience!! Highly recommend it. We went on a Saturday night, and I can't believe they weren't as good as they were.

I gotta say, I love this place. Everybody there makes you feel SO welcome! The waitresses and waiters are so kind and friendly. The owner sometimes spends time there and treats his customers to complementary samples of his amazing gelato. I always feel like I’m with family in this place. Highly recommend!!!!! Try the Greek lemon chicken herb. So authentic!!!

Safety first: everyone was wearing masks and they seem be cleaning tables and social distancing inside. They do have outside seating both in front of the restaurant and on the back side by the pond. They have takeout as well.
Food: I will always tell everyone to get the saganaki. It's one if those dishes you can only get at the restaurant and it's delicious. Nothing better than melted cheese :) that has been set on fire. While typically my go to is the Greek chicken, they had a special on their Italian entrees while we were there so, I got the chicken piccata and my diningpartner got the chicken parm. The chicken piccata sauce was delicious, the chicken wasn't dry, and the rice was good. The broccoli and carrots are steamed and good as well. The chicken parm was excellent as well.
I will also day if you're looking for a quick dessert theychave amazing Gelato. I suggest the limoncello or the marscapone, but all the flavors I've had have been a treat.

Dined in your establishment last night, and the gelato was amazing. Dinner- not so much. The chicken piccata was literally a piece of dry chicken with over cooked limp broccoli on the side. No lemon flavor or capers on the chicken. Did not even resemble chicken piccata. I had the shrimp scampi. The noodles were dry and shrimp was old and rubbery. My husband ordered the Cuban sandwich which was to say the least, ok. My advice to owners. You have way too much going on with this menu, are you greek are you Italian or American with burgers and philly cheese steak sandwiches? Stick to your original concept and serve panini's and gelato and you will have repeat customers. Adding too many things on menu with no flavor will only drive away business.

This is a hidden gem. The pizza is homemade and outstanding. Ok, be patient with wait staff. Not great. But the owner and his son are great. The food is so good, it’s worth being patient with wait staff.

Love this place! Terrific Mediterranean food and authentic gelato! We always enjoy it and the service is great too! Also, if the weather is nice ask to sit out on the back patio - shady with a beautiful view of the lake.

I had chicken Parmesan. Serving size was not very big. Two small pieces of bread. The chicken was small and under cooked. The sauce was pretty average flavor. My wife had Parmesan shrimp, she said the shrimp were overcooked and tough. The bathrooms are through the kitchen prep area. The best part was the wide selection of tasty gelato. I would go to portofinos, a couple stores away.

I've never had anything less than fabulous from this restaurant. Not only do they make a mean cubano sandwich and greek salad, but the gelato is to die for. I get takeout several times a month as a treat to myself!
I was disappointed today, however, when I stopped in to spend $24 on two pints of gelato to bring to my children's preschool teachers as a token of appreciation. I requested 8-10 small size paper cups for the bag so the teachers could enjoy their treat. The female server muttered to herself for a few minutes, then said "I'll have to charge you...say...$2 for that." What poor service. I passed on the offer to charge me $0.20 per cup and instead passed that money as a tip for the very patient male server who was helping me. I have to admit, that experience leaves me much less likely to patronize a previously favored restaurant. What a bummer.

We went tonight for my wife's birthday I asked when seated if they could do something for her the waiter said no not really it was extremely hot no working ac when I asked our waitress if it was broken she said no it doesn't work the food was good small portions I asked for the sugar free Gelato my wife said let me see which flavor I want the waitress didn't come back for 20 minutes it wasn't busy at all only 8 people besides us were there when she did finally come back she brought the check the service was terrible all young kids no apparent management there peak of summer no ac I won't be back very disappointing to say the least.

Update* this restaurant has slowly been declining but tonight was the last straw for my husband and myself. Between hearing the waitstaff say shit and fuck very loudly after messing something up, having our waitress Leann ignore us with not as much as a water refill or asking what dressing was preferred with the house salad or watching the waitress walk past our table to flirt with the table behind us. After having to request our check she tells us the credit card machine was acting funny. I was so happy I had cash dropped it on the table and left as fast as we could. Really sad as the food is good but I don't think I will be dining here again. Aug 10 2014 review:Every time I have eaten at this establishment it has been amazing! The first time I went here to try the chicken shawarma which was killer! On the next visit all I wanted was something sweet and tasted a few before deciding on the Nutella flavor (decadent but not too chocolaty). The last time we visited was today with my husband and new puppy. Our waiter, Nick, not only brought out water for the little guy but made us a little sampler of gelato tastes since we both couldn't be in the store at once. We got breakfast this time a Mediterranean panini for me and a bacon egg and cheese for the husband. We both finished everything! We will gladly continue to visit this amazing restaurant! Best in the arbo by far!

The gelato is great. Until there is a better wait staff in place though, I will take my family elsewhere. I've never be thrilled with the service we have received but tonight's service was terrible. We were seated at a dirty table and, despite us asking two different staff members, we were never given a menu or greeted. Never had the table cleaned off. Three other tables were dirty and remained that way from the time we entered to past when we left from another restaurant.

I loooove the Mediterranean Fajitas! They're incredible! This place has great prices and friendly service. The only thing I would say is that it's always hot in the restaurant when I go in there during the spring or summer. But I always stay and eat regardless! That's how good it is!

Hands down the best gelato in Charlotte. The pistachio and the salted caramel flavors are amazing. The lemon basil sorbetto,though, is to die for! The coffee is great too!
