LOVE TOYAMAS! I have been eating here since I moved in 2008. It is now 45 minutes away and we monthly make the drive up for Toyama’s. It has been the exact same delicious quality! I look forward to eating here and will always be coming back!!

One of my favorite hibachi restaurants in Charlotte. Always fast friendly service and the food is great! Competitive prices too! I really enjoy the hibachi shrimp and chicken.

This place is amazinnnnng! Best food ive had in the university area. They give you a ton and I am always able to make two big meals out of it. They have the best shrimp sauce too. The lady at the register was sweet and adorable. The restaurant was clean and well put together. I ordered the steak and chicken with fried rice and carrots. The food came out fast, was a decent portion for $14, and was nice and hot. But lacked flavor. All I tasted was a lot of butter.. in everythin

Tried for the first time today. Terriaki chicken plate was good portion, good flavor, fair prices. Will come again. Sat outside on there tables and eat very comfortably

My fiancé lives in Ohio and every time she comes to CLT, she asks if we can go to Toyama even though it's a 40 minute drive from Indian Trail.

I had Hibachi chicken (closest) and the M had teriyaki chicken. Both were delicious. It’s our first visit here and everything was clean and inviting, including the restrooms. I’m glad I found this quaint express Japanese restaurant. We will be back.
